"Jose came out to trouble my 6 year old water heater which stopped heating and would not respond to my efforts. After a long and thorough attempt to fix the situation, the heater declined to participate. Jose outlined my options and explained in detail what he wanted me to know before deciding to purchase a new system. Once I decided, Jose worked out a plan for me. He made sure his supplier was open on Christmas Eve so he could pick it up and install for me the same day. "After the gas company refused to turn on our gas due to leak, I searched for gas leak service through Angies. First Class plumbing called and I asked them to perform a test to find out the source of the leak. I agreed to pay them $360 for this service which would be applied to the repair cost should I have decided to choose them for repair. The did a pressure test, confirmed the leak. However, they guessed where the leak was. They said the leak is somewhere underground between the gas meter and where the gas pipe enters teh house (~28 feet). They told me replacing that under-concrete pipe would cost me $9000 and if I do the post repair concrete patch, it would cost $7,000. I asked them to change the whole gas pipe in the yard (b/c it was old), they said $15,000 if I do the post-repair concrete path myself. Based on their statement I signed a contract for $15,000 to replace the whole gas piping in the backyard. Before they were going to show up next day, I asked them to delay the start of the work until Monday (3 days delay). I asked another gas company to do the diagnosis. The leak wasn't in the part of the gas pipe that was going from meter to the place the pipe enters the house. He isolated the segment that was causing the leak, then the leak was gone. I can send you the diagnosis from both companies. I would like First Class piping to pay me my $360 b/c their diagnosis was erroneous. Not only would I have paid the $7000 without having fixed the leak, but I would have damaged the concrete in the yard as well. In their diagnosis, First Class is saying there are Ts under the ground etc. which is absolutely to the case. He would have seen there were no Ts had he used his borescope camera as I asked him to do. I am asking them to pay me back my $360 which is the least they should do."

"There was leak in my laundry wall..that seems to come and go. I can not figure out where it is coming from. . I called several plumbers to get their opinion and quote. Several plumbers came and gave their opinion and quote. All of them stated that they need to use leak detection methods because they don't know where the leak is, it will be an extra charge once I agree to hire them. All the plumber gave me a quote based on what I told them. they but did not really do anything before hand . Luckilly Andrew from Service Flow came and I told him the issue and he took his time to diagnose where the leak could be coming from, he even performed an initial moisture detection in thevwhole house and other techniques to find out where the leak is..he really took his time to diagnose the issue and found the issue without an initial charge. He gave me a very good quote. I hired Service Flow because of the care and concern that Andrew showed, great customer service and very affordable."

Levi came within the time frame I was quoted, looked at what needed to be done, went to get the exact parts that was needed and did the job. "Jesse came out to view project and give a quote. He was on time and very helpful. He checked our water main for pressure and found a small leak at one of the joints. He was able to tighten the joint and the leak stopped. He replaced the cartridge in the bathroom sink and was able to reattach the handle. He was efficient and professional. Pricing was reasonable. He tightened the piping to stop the leak rather than pushing for me to replace the joint at this point. If it does continue to leak I will have Guardian replace it for us."
