"Carini installed my mini splits a few years ago and promised me the world with their warranties. Well, turns out they botched something during the install and all of the refrigerant leaked out. They want $2,200 to refill and re-pressurize the line. Since they cross-threaded the screw that led to the leak during installation, this should be covered under the "Lifetime Craftsmanship" guarantee. Instead, they're trying to charging me a full day of labor to fix their mistake. Support on this issue has been dismal. It's been 16 days since they first diagnosed the problem and I still don't have a timeline for when this will get fixed. I chose Carini because of their warranties and their service record, but its all smoke and mirrors. You've been warned."

But don't worry, they're a construction company too... a little too convenient However, after the technician left, my husband decided to inspect it himself since we just had it cleaned within a year ago. Within an hr, he was able to clean out a considerable amount of lint, but there was no actual blockage obstructing the vent. In fact, as you can see in the attached photograph, a standard dryer vent cleaning tool could pass straight through the hose from the front to the back. Not to mention, there is plenty of air coming through the vent and none coming back into the home."
