"I was looking for someone to build a new set of stairs that led to my back patio. Carter called me back immediately to discuss what I was looking for. He explained what product options were available, the timeframe for completion and the price. He kept me updated as the project moved forward, called out any concerns, and made sure the project was completed to my satisfaction."

"Hal's work is top-notch but I grew increasingly frustrated with the timing and inconsistency of his work habits. His was one of several estimates I received and basically he said he would beat any estimate I received. The difference is that everyone else was going to use cedar and he only works with pressure-treated Southern yellow pine, which is less than half the cost of cedar. I was unsure of the durability and longevity of that product so I did extensive research online. Still unsure, I drive around the Twin Cities to see other jobs Hal did that gave stood the test of time and I decided to move forward. Clearly, the way he builds his fences require considerably more manual labor than those built with cedar posts and pickets so essentially instead of paying for the higher cost of cedar, you pay for increased labor costs. Unfortunately, Hal isn't as going as predicting when he will get jobs complete as he is completing them well. He was over a month late in getting started and I repeatedly had to call him to inquire about the delay. It was quite frustrating but since I didn't absolutely need the fence done by a certain date, I decided to practice patience. Once he finally started, most days he and his helper only worked 4 hours so the project dragged on far longer than I thought it would. Admittedly, there were a couple of weather-related days but other times when it was a perfect day, they wouldn't show up and I would give no idea when they were coming again. After I told him I really needed to have him be more communicative, he was and within a short time after that conversation, he completed the fence. The fence is beautiful and appears very sturdy. We'll see how it withstands time and weather but for now I am very happy with it. Hal does beautiful work but if you are on a strict timeline I would not recommend working with him. If you are flexible and don't mind putting more effort into communication, he is a great person to work with.

"All work performed was high quality.  Good interaction with Don Hruby, the business manager, and Will Rossbach, the project manager/carpenter.  We had Rossbach Construction design and build a new island to match our current kitchen cabinets.  When we first received the new island we determined that the roll-out drawers in the lower section were not deep enough.  Rossbach Construction had new deeper drawers made at no extra cost to us.

"Greene Construction Inc was amazing. The best contractor I have ever had and will use them again for sure.
First they installed the egress window for us and the next day came back to build a pine wall and door so our middle child could have his own bedroom.
It took two full days and it was worth it. Both mornings they showed up at 8 AM and worked until it was done. They cleaned up well after the work was done as well.
The company is great and I recommend them to all.
TJ and Gary do great work and are really nice guys and they know what they are doing.
Demian, who is the owner - is the kind of contractor you want - A great one.
He was on vacation when I first contact him and he got back to me right away to set up a meeting. A contractor that actually wants business - finally!
Friendly, honest, great work and prompt.

"We are very satisfied with the 2nd story master bedroom and bathroom addition that Fair & Square did for us. We’d planned for a long time to build out a bedroom suite so it fun to work with this group to pull it all together. They were full of great ideas to make it the perfect space. They paid attention to the smallest details and we always knew what to expect next. They kept the project on budget and we couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out."

"This was the second time I worked with Greg. It had gone so well the first time that I called him when I wanted a 14 x 20 building put on the back of my lot. He impressed me again with his creative solutions to some of the problems I was having, both with build and placement. He stayed in my budget and got it done in a reasonable amount of time. Definitely will call him again for the next project!"

"Everything went smoothly. Bob is an excellent builder. We wanted a well built home with many quality features and that is exactly what we got. He hired equally professional subs and supervised them closely. He worked with us to get all the details just right. New friends step into our home today and are to a person impressed by the quality of workmanship and by the beauty of our home.

Two years after building our home we hired Bob to build us a large story and a half garage. It is just as well built and just as impressive. I would definitely hire Bob again."

"Working with Sam and the Sharpe Construction team was great. Sam went far above and beyond what was expected of him to make sure that the job was done well. Not to mention that the job he was asked to do was no typical renovation. He produced great results on a short timeline all while being asked to perform on camera and explain what was being done. He stepped in without hesitation and even worked seamlessly with big name talent that we had on the build. I would recommend Sam for any job big or small. You?ll be just as impressed with his customer service, flexibility, and professionalism as you are with the quality of his work.
