"When I called Smaller Deliveries, they were very helpful in helping me decide upon the best product and estimate of the appropriate quantity of gravel to repair my driveway.  The drive arrived on time and helped me spread the gravel by slowly dumping it as he drove forward, and then by helping me rake it into place.  This was very helpful, as I was all by myself on this project.  He also helped me plan for a couple of future loads of soil that I will need on a lawn care project.  I will definitely use Smaller Deliveries again!"

"We have a small gravel backyard that reduced to a gross slurry of sharp rock and mud whenever it rained and resulted in a nasty, unusable area. We decided to install pavers to turn this into a usable space. We sought multiple quotes and even accepted one who flaked on us. We are fortunate that he did flake because it was then that we found Cary. Cary took far more time than that other contractors to research our needs and sit down and explain in exacting detail everything that he proposed. His professional and friendly manner put us at ease but honestly I was worried that Cary, clearly a step up from the others we’d talked to, would be crazy expensive. In fact, his bid was the lowest we’d received. Cary and team started work on time and in a few days had a beautiful finished product. He promised us that he would always return if we were unsatisfied with anything and he came through on this too. Our idiot dogs found a way to dig under the fence and hurl mud and stones all over Cary’s beautiful work. We told him about this and he promptly came back out and did another full day’s work, at his expense, to cap the areas our mischievous mutts mutilated. He even cleaned their mess after. If we ever need more paving work done, there is no question that we’ll call Cary back. We will also recommend him without hesitation to friends and family. Also, while not part of his official repertoire, the man is also a genius at calming rambunctious puppies. We’d hire him for that too if he ever takes that on as a line of work!"

We went into Pro Granite and immediately appreciated the customer service and well organized showroom. Anna was very helpful showing us around and upfront about pricing, she even gave us a printout of our project with the costs of different pieces of granite. Very reasonably priced! Less than the big box stores. We decided on one kind and they pulled out those slabs for us to select the exact one we wanted. Excellent communication and punctuality from the templating appointment to the installation, always arriving about 5 minutes early in fact. Vinnie and Ivan did a meticulous job, their dedication to their craft shows through in the finished project. Recommend 100%."

"Bob and his 1 man crew did a fantastic job! They easily removed the large bamboo bush/roots with a small excavator and then cut down and removed the tree without any damage to the fence. They cleared away the bush/roots and tree branches/parts. They even picked up a couple piles of raking I had done but hadn't got a chance to get into the compost bin - so sweet! They were professional, on time, very easy to work with, and I'd hire them again in a second. As a first-time home owner it was wonderful to have such a great experience."

"Sia and his crew did a stellar job on my new concrete driveway conversion from gravel and block planter wall in front of the house! After a prompt free estimate and due diligence, I found Step Up's estimate to be the most competitive and fairly priced. They were always very communicative and promptly showed up when they said they would everyday. Throughout the whole process, they kept the work area clean during the day and at the end of the day before leaving. In the end, both the concrete driveway and block wall turned out great, couldn't be happier with their work!"

"In most instances, Le's did the minimum that I asked for. However, many weeds were missed, a large shrub was sheared not pruned, trimmings weren't all picked up, detritis tossed into our groundcover by schoolchildren wasn't removed, and wood borders weren't swept as part of cleanup. In fact, there was no attention to basic neatness. I even had to show a worker how to correctly place the stones on the top row of our simple retaining wall. I did ask that a layer of pea gravel be added to a side walkway. The gravel is now so deep that there are large footprints in the gravel every time you walk on it. In addition, the "power-wash" of our front walk left clumps of moss on the walk and large specs of dirt all over the fence, the adjacent patio, and all of the adjacent plants! After I complained, his son came the next day and corrected that part of the job. If you are expecting a thorough job, this is not the group to hire. If you are expecting good advice on landscaping issues, look somewhere else."

"I worked with Alex. Upfront, honest and very transparent about the work we requested. As an overview, this is what we requested and had done. - Removal of several trees and brush from back and front yards - Installation of 400 sq ft paver patio w/ high gloss sealant - Installation of 280 sq ft playground area with wood chips - Removal and replacement of all grass Alex and his team were prompt, on time and respectful of the surrounding properties. He kept us informed and let us know what to expect at every turn. The quality of work was superb, and cost was very fair compared to other competitive bids. I will be referring him to all friends and family for their landscaping needs!"

"Tom and his Team did an awesome job.  He had to coordinate with our fireplace insert installers to demolish and replace existing tile with new beautiful granite tile.  Tom went above and beyond by going down to the Tile store with us and helping us select our granite mini-slabs used for the job.  They actually had to remove 2 layers of old tiles and were very flexible as our requirements changed somewhat as we decided to go down to floor level, versus just replacing existing raised level of tiles.  Tom's Team did a great job of removing the old tiles without damaging our hardwood floors.  Beyond that, they volunteered to get some floor finish and actually finished the uncovered hardwood for us.  We had thought we might need to bring in a wood worker for that work.  We could not be happier with the finished job.  We absolutely love our new fireplace insert and granite tiled surround and hearth.  We would definitely use Seattle Tile again and will freely recommend them to our friends.  The only "B" I gave was for price.  They weren't the cheapest quote I got, but when all was said and done we definitely made the right choice.  We believe the quality that we got was worth it. <br />"
