"I highly recommend Peterson Home Improvements! I have an older barn that needed a bunch of work done - new kitchen, updating bathrooms, reinforcing the original structure, flooring, new windows, and more. I worked with Ed to get the project started and he was great to work with on what to expect and project timelines. He regularly checks in on how things are going as well. Joe and Matt were a pleasure to work with for the day to day work that was completed. They worked with electricians, plumbers, etc and coordinated all the work that needed to get done. They’ve always been great to work with and with such a large project in the main area of my home, they cleaned up every day making it comfortable for us. Would definitely work with them again and plan to on an addition in the future!"

From clean ups to full lot clearings our crew is equipped to perform any level of tree work. If you have a large tree close to your house we can safely remove the tree and the stump all in the same day. After the trees are cut down we remove all logs, branches and debris and leave no trace. We own and operate a full sawmill, Woodstock Beam Works, where we can take a log, mill it into lumber, kiln dry it and custom build tables, bar tops etc. We put safety and the environment first. We are a Green company and we respect your property and the safety of all involved.
"I scheduled an appointment for an estimate, only to be told an hour before that he wasn’t able to come. I agreed to reschedule, but then—out of nowhere—he texted just five minutes before our original appointment and showed up without confirm with us that the time still worked, despite having already canceled. It was inconvenient and unprofessional, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt and moved forward with scheduling the actual stump removal. On the day of the job, at the exact time they were scheduled to arrive, I got a last-minute text saying they couldn’t come due to rain. Weather is something that can be checked ahead of time—this should have been communicated the day before, not at the moment they were supposed to start. Because of their lack of professionalism, I had to reschedule other contractors who were lined up to follow their work, creating a domino effect of delays. After reading reviews, it turns out this is a common issue with this company. If reliability matters to you, I’d recommend looking elsewhere—showing up is step one in being a professional contractor, and unfortunately, they don’t seem to have that down."
