They also upgraded the thermostat and relay panel to be able to control the humidity from t-stat. Everything is running perfectly with home humidity at 46%. "Kenny from Horizon was very professional and a great guy. I appreciated his insight. He was just doing his job. He was very pleasant. However, I was disappointed in a tune up amounting to just a check of voltage on my motor and capacitors. I thought there would be cleaning involved and an adding of a pound of freon to my unit as advertised. That didn't happen. I received an estimate of over $700 for the replacement of 3 capacitors. I could replace all 3 for under $50. To charge $650 labor is raping the customer. Then the blower motor (that is NOT multispeed) was estimated at about $1100 replacement. The motor costs $210. So again...I feel raped. For a charge of almost$900 for labor. Unbelievable! I've lost my trust in companies that are so money hungry that they lose sight of reasonable business. I will now change out my own parts as I have no confidence of reasonable pricing. Maybe people can afford to be overcharged about $1100. I can't and I won't if I can help it. Next time I'll use my own voltage meter and check my motor voltage and resistance on my capisiters myself. They should be paying me for their so called "tune-ups" as they are only a ploy to pressure you to buy a new furnace/AC system. Ohh and they won't install a new furnace to an old AC unit and Visa versa. That's what the guy told me. Are you kidding me? He told me it would cost$11,000-17,000 for a new system. My father in law just replaced both for $9,000.... So again a minimum of $2,000 overcharge. Nope, Horizon, your scam won't work with me. I'll be glad to tell everyone I meet and show them your ridiculous estimates!"

"This is the third time we've used the Temp Rite guys to install a ductless AC system in our old house. They always do a great job. We barely had to do anything more than point to where we wanted the units installed and they figured out everything else without needing any additional input. They showed up on time on the days of the install, and stayed until almost 10:00 pm the second day to make sure everything was finished up. The install quality was great -- everything was straight and true, and neatly covered up. This was not an easy install, as they had to pass the interior pipes through a ceiling and several walls to get to the outdoor unit. They even found a convenient place to install the drainage that I had not even thought of. We ran the units for a month after the install, and everything worked perfectly. We would definitely use them again -- their guys have great attitudes, are hard-working and polite. Highly recommend.
