"The instructions for installing the hot water pipe insulation and garage door seal were not followed. He did not wipe down before installing the insulation tape so it peeled soon after installation. He also installed the water seal backwards because he didn't read the instructions. Then he just added cheap roll weather stripping to the bottom of the door. I can still stick my fingers under the gap. I said we wanted a permanent threshold and this isn't it, and he said, "I agree" then did nothing. We called to report the issues and they sent the same person back. He just pushed the tape back on the insulation (it peeled again soon after). When I politely pointed out the backwards garage door seal, he said he did it right even when I showed him the picture in the instructions. He ripped it up but didn't remove the sealant from the seal or floor then sloppily reinstalled it and water, unsurprisingly, goes right under it. He glued a low wood threshold under the door, but it still did not properly seal the bottom of the door. We discontinued using Mr. Handyman."
