"Jason Miller called me the same day in response to my request on Home Advisor, and provided excellent help over the phone, at no cost. Then, he came to review the situation at our home the next day, on a Sunday afternoon. On Monday, the job (a temporary fix for the season) was completed; and, I am delighted! My husband and I struggled for 2 weeks attempting to find and figure out how to fix a leak. Other companies we contacted were too busy to be bothered and/or not helpful at all. Within 48 hours of talking to Jason, we went from a pool that was leaking terribly, shutdown, ugly and unusable, to a beautiful, clear operational pool with no leaking! I am so happy! "I'd previously asked Backyard Ponds to clean and net my ponds the last week in September. I called the Friday before to find out when they could come, and they agreed to send their workers on Monday. They team arrived on time. They were pleasant and professional I walked them through what I wanted them to do. It was a complicated job; there were three ponds, and each pond required different care. The team went to work right away. They spent most of the day on the effort, breaking only for lunch. When they were done, I inspected the ponds. The only thing I had to ask them to do was put a net over the waterfall on one of the ponds. The fish they handled were in good condition after the cleaning. The workers left no debris on the job site. The company sent the bill in a timely manner, listing labor and materials so I would understand the charges. I would happily use them again!"

"When I made the appointment I was told I would receive a call when the electrician was on his way. He was supposed to be at my house at 2:00. I was at my home at 1:50. When nobody was at my house by 2:30 I called the company. I was told the electrician was already at my house and would come later. He showed up at 4:30ish and spent 5 minutes determining the problem. That's fine but he made no attempt to fix it. I had an Angie's List deal that cost me $99 for $200 worth of services. The electrician was not sure if I could use the voucher. He thought the voucher had to go towards a service that exceeded $200. I called the office and they straightened everything out. I guess my biggest frustration is how long I had to wait and how I was told I would receive a call and did not. I actually had to call them several times.

"Eric from Open and Flowing came and fixed the issues I was having with my toilet bowls. He came at the beginning of the time window that you gave and he was very friendly. He did a wonderful job and was very neat! I could tell he was experienced and I had total confidence he would do a great job. Of all the service men that Choice Home Warranty has sent to out home, he was by far the best. I am extremely pleased!!!"

"First, we had a good crew. Then, this year, it went pear shaped. They left a coffee mug and an empty bottle behind one day. The pool is rarely cleaned, just checked. One day they came into the pool area so we got out of the pool. 10 minutes later they were gone. However, on the slip they left detailing what they had done, they listed "brushing the pool etc, etc, which there was no way they could have done in 10 minutes. I now think that we may never had good service from them but since we are rarely here when they do the service, we do not know. But the trust is gone.

"They have been out for the electrical. They have been out for the pool. They have been out for the sump pump. Its the fee for the service call. We have used them for the last 3 years. If you have an appliance that you think needs replaced they will not replace it they will repair it to death. They are very responsive. Some of the people they send out are great, some are okay."
