"I called in to set up an appointment for heater maintenance.  A real person answers their phones, no automated voice w/ choices.  That's always nice.  They quickly handled getting an appt. time that worked with our schedule.  The service person showed up on time, was polite and completed their work in a timely manner.  As it turned out, they had forgotten to check our humidifier.  We called in, and they apologized and immediately sent someone out to check it out.  No problems.  After this, they came out for a maintenance check on the a/c unit.  Again, friendly service person who gave us some helpful info. on the life of our unit.

"I was looking for quotes for a new furnace since mine was over 20 years old and failed, so decided to have it replaced along with the matched central air conditioner unit. I got estimates from several heating and cooling companies but ultimately gave the job to RTT Heating and Cooling, LLC . Ryan came out quickly, looked at my units and answered all my questions to give me the best options for both cost and reliability for a new complete system. Ryan was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. He didn’t try to sell me stuff I didn’t need like others. His office contacted me and we scheduled a date to replace the units. "It turned out okay. I was a little bit disappointed. I went with Lowe's because they were cheaper than the guy I had used in the past. But I just didn't feel that the ducts got totally cleaned out. My wife said, "Well, why don't you have them back?" I said, "I think it's the machine." The one they used before had a big powerful thing on the truck. This was more of a portable sucking fan or whatever. I just don't think it pulled stuff out as good as the other. I happened to look at one place where I had noticed a lot of debris on the floor. He was trying to blow through the ducts and it still seemed to be there when they were done. I was so-so with it. There were no other charges. The guy was very nice. He told me he threw in a sanitizer because we were relatively an easy job. He backed his truck in the driveway and rolled the thing off his truck. He didn't have to bring it down the basement or something. He said he talked to his office and they were fine with that. He was just very nice. But, I just didn't think he did as good a job as the guy who had the truck mounted thing that I used the time before. I would recommend them to come with a more powerful sucking machine. I went with them because of the price. But, I don't think the value was there. Next time, I'll pay more and go back to the guy who had the more powerful machine on his truck. We got it done within a week of when I had made the payment. The responsiveness was fine."

"I heard some buzzing noises coming from our panel and we were experiencing loss of power in certain areas of the house. Thinking it was just a breaker, I called Jason and told him all the problems we were having. He arranged to come later in the afternoon to figure out what was going on. Before he arrived we lost power to more areas of the house and the power to appliances like the refrigerator was reduced. I noticed there was more buzzing noises so I decided to turn off all of the breakers including main breaker to see if I could power back on only a couple of breakers I needed. Little did I know, that the type of breakers I have are notoriously bad and sometimes do not turn back on when you flip the main breaker back on. So, here we were without any power whatsoever. 
When Jason arrived I told him we had lost power completely since we spoke on the phone. After looking at our panel he said that type of breaker had that had issue. He also said he wouldn?t be able to replace the main breaker because it is a design that is no longer in use and he didn?t recommend using it anyway. He said the issue we were having is that the breaker went bad and was only delivering the equivalent of half the total power I was using. He gave use the low down and said he or one of his employees would come in tomorrow to do and emergency replace on the panel. He went to work seeing what he can do to restore power to essential areas like the refrigerator until it was able to be replaced. He was able to give us power to the refrigerator and television in the living room so we were happy with that. He showed us the quote and mentioned he would be coming tomorrow (Saturday) at 9am to do the work himself.
Jason was at our house at 9am ready to go and even brought his son in to assist him. Jason kept a very clean work area and was very thorough and organized. He completed the work by late afternoon and everything was back on and working with the buzzing! He noticed that the ground rods were missing and said he would send someone early in the following week to replace the ground rods. They showed up and did the work as promised and got the area ready for inspection. 
Overall I am very pleased with Jason?s work and the lengths he went to help us out. Considering it was Easter weekend and he came on a Saturday, we think Jason went above and beyond. We will have J.A.C. Electric do any electrical work for us in the future.
