"We hired this company to do a major renovation to our home, which included replacing flooring throughout the house, removing popcorn ceilings and painting throughout the house, kitchen and half bathroom remodel, new lighting, total renovation of our FROG to include built-in cabinets. The workers were prompt and professional, the owner Rafael was very available with any questions and they worked well with me with changes I made throughout the project. Also, they were flexible with me as far as scheduling work in the rooms that were cleared out, as we remained living in the home during this project and it worked out very well! The kitchen tile is okay however, after paying an extra $100 to have a wood trim install in my foyer entrance, I have been living with a defective product since late March. The trim is being held by a bucket full of book to prevent us to trip and hurt ourself. Contacted the company more than once , was promise the problem would be fix however, I am still waiting."

"I initially contacted Tommy through the Angie's List website, and he called me promptly to set up an appointment to visit my home and review the work I wanted done. He then followed up with an email giving me a quote for the work. Since I felt the quoted price was reasonable and he had such good reviews, we scheduled the work for the next week. I became ill later that week, and Tommy worked with me to reschedule. On the first work day, Tommy and his assistant, Lou, arrived as scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and immediately began covering furniture with clean plastic, tenting kitchen cabinets, covering floors with drop cloths, and taping woodwork. Smaller items, such as dining room chairs, were even moved into the garage. Although I offered them lunch, both said that they preferred to work straight through the day. Since I still was not feeling well, I ended up going into a bedroom to lie down and ended up falling asleep. When I awoke at 5:30, they had left, but not before removing all plastic and drop cloths, replacing the furniture, and sweeping the floor. The second day went much as the first, except that I changed my mind about the color for one of the rooms, and Tommy made a special trip to the paint store to get the new paint. The bedroom, bathroom, and den were completed that day, the plaster in the garage was repaired, and Tommy installed the under-cabinet lighting (not normally one of their services but done as a special favor since I had no one else to do it). My house was left in perfect order when they finished, and they even borrowed my vacuum to make sure that the floors were left clean. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Always Painting by Tommy. Not only is the quality of their work outstanding, but I felt that their prices were fair. They were prompt and reliable and provided good follow through when minor issues arose. Both Tommy and Lou are gentlemen who conduct themselves professionally, take obvious pride in their work, and go out of their way to try to please the customer. I have already had them back for another smaller painting job and would not hesitate to recommend them to others who might need their services. In fact, a family member who is renovating a house will be calling them for a quotation when they are ready to paint this spring.

"Big Mike helped me after botched attempt at mosaic tile install. Cut out bottom corner where tiles had buckled and installed rest of mosaic tile on other two walls in bathroom around tub. He was a true professional and provided expert clean up after project was completed. Would highly recommend Big Mike's Maintenance for variety of home improvement projects. Have scheduled follow on work for exterior trim repair. Will call Mike for any future repairs needed in my home.

"We used A1 exterminators for several years. In the beginning we used them to change the dehumidifier filters. We started using them because the previous owners had used them to redo the crawl space and install a the humidifier. At some point we also started using them for pest control. We did their Guardian Plan from beginning. The guys they sent over were nice and courteous and always helpful. We were pleased with service until we were selling our home and records of services provided were requested and they refused to give them. We were needing information on if they had caulked some cracks in the foundation when they sealed everything when the dehumidifier was installed. I even had the previous owner call and give them permission to release this information. They accused me of trying to get information out of them that didn't belong to me. Funny thing is, there were absolutely no issues, but they were immediately defensive and accusing me of being in a bad place with our buyers. She talked over me to the point and was so rude, I told her to shut up. That was the end of anything I ever wanted to do with them. Had the owner of this company not been the rudest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I may have left them a good rating. Based on how she treats a customer of 4 or 5 years, I could never recommend them to anyone. Read their reviews yourself. Their bad customer service speaks for itself. When I mentioned this company to the buyers real estate agent, he confirmed that they weren't reputable as did the escrow company that did our closing."
