"We had an overall ok experience with Hunt's Services. Scheduling felt impersonal. After I tried to contact them through Angi, a system-sent text message directed me to their website to start the communication process all over again. Eventually someone did call to set up an appointment. Their system does not, however, appear capable of offering an appointment time or even a time window. They only offered a scheduled day and then 30 minutes notice when a technician was on their way. Fortunately, I am able to work from home and be flexible about breaks, so this worked ok for me. But for someone who needs to actually go to work or run errands, they may not be your best option. Pricing seemed a bit high. The cost to replace our leaky faucet was at the high end (or possibly higher) of what the internet seemed to indicate was normal for that service. Also, I didn't really need the faucet installed, since I'm reasonably handy at these things. I only needed the old one removed since it was apparently damaged and stuck in place (they eventually needed a Sawzall to remove it). But that service wasn't on their pre-defined menu of procedures, so full replacement was the only option they were able to quote. We needed the leak fixed, so we chose to have them complete the entire job rather than seeing if we could find someone else to do the work. Workmanship was decent. The replacement faucet was installed without leaks. The drain stopper was installed backwards, however, which meant that it couldn't be removed for cleaning or maintenance. I needed to partially disassemble the drain in order to correct this. It wasn't a big deal, but didn't feel like it should be necessary. All that being said, the leak that existed when they showed up was no longer there by the time they left. The technicians themselves were courteous and efficient. So they did fulfil our primary need in hiring a plumber. But we'll probably look at other options, or at least get more quotes for comparison, the next time we need something like this taken care of."

"I had called out 4 different companies to come and give us an estimate. West Coast Plumbing was the 4th and final one to come out. I had kinda resigned to the fact that we were just going to some how borrow the money to get the water main fixed. The City of course says it needs to be done within 30 days of some kind of leak being noticed by us the homeowner. Our water bill jumped up by $600.00 Long story short, John from West Coast Plumbing came out to take a look. John not only thoroughly took a look at what we already dug out , but told us he can't say for sure until he can get a better look. John said the first thing that needed to be done was have 811 out and to mark all the lines so nothing gets accidentally hit while the digging is going on. He said he would proceed to write me up a estimate that covered the minimal to the worse case scenario. It was very detailed and answered all of my questions. I decided to go with West Coast Plumbing. Not only was John very knowledgeable, but professional and friendly. He was also the only one that said 811 needed to be out before anything could be done. It was better to be safe than sorry. John called 811 and they were all here and done the same day. I was not charged for the trip out by John, it was a free estimate. I was told by another company it was a free estimate and then charged $150.00. I just can't say enough about John and West Coast Plumbing. "Garret was referred to me by my brother in law who is a plumber. Garret worked on. Two of my rentals. Repairing a leak and replacing a kitchen faucet at one house and and at the second he replaced a hot water tank. The hot water tank had been leaking for awhile and Garret recommended that the floor be replaced(it was pressed partial board that had been softened by the leaking tank). He brought everything “up to code” so I know going forward that this. Project is completed. The work was done quickly and I paid a fair price for the work. I will be calling Garret in the near future to replace a few more Hot water tanks BEFORE. They damage the floor!"

"Pure Water Northwest (PWN) is the best, easiest way to future-proof your house's water supply. They offer installation of the best products made to clean water for everything from the kitchen sink to the shower, and everything between. Chris owns the company and he employs capable technicians who do most of the surveys & installations for PWN. A couple of them did the initial survey of my house and gave me a simple estimate within an hour, along with a line item for each hole and pipe that needed to be plumbed. When it came time for installation, PWN was pretty busy and Chris jumped in to take over some installations - including mine! I was lucky enough to have a first-rate water purification expert do my installation, and it was excellent. At one point Chris found a valve error a previous plumber made and he resolved the problem and improved the valve in the process. From turning off the water main valve to turning it on again, it was ~90 minutes (super fast). Chris was in and out of my crawl space with new lines run in no time. The purification device was installed smartly in a corner of the garage so it didn't get in the way of parking or anything else. PWN set me up with a slick Texas-made Reionator Pro Ultra by Water Tech, and it has changed my water consumption literally overnight. The PNW-installed Reionator purifies water from the primary line, and even though Kitsap County has high quality water, I love the assurance that for now into the future, no matter what happens to the water utility or the environment, water will be clean for every sink, bathtub, and even toilet. Chris finished off the install with a custom video he did on the spot while I recorded him explaining the system to me - he knows everything rote about the products he installs and the video is much easier to refer to for operation & maintenance than referring to a thousand-page reference manual. And finally, the finance team at PWN was kind enough to let me pay in a few monthly installments for my system, which makes it easier (and less expensive) to finance on a credit card. If you want to invest in the best possible water quality for your house (forever), then I recommend you call Chris & co. at Pure Water Northwest."
