"We just had our new Moisture Shield composite deck installed by The Deck & Patio Company and couldn’t be more pleased! From start to finish, this company is five star. From working with the Sales Rep, Tom, to the Project Manager, Martin, the owner, Jed and installers Jimmy and Pedro, these guys are all perfectionists and know what they’re doing. They tore out our existing deck that was only 7 years old, already rotting and a liability to walk on. They had to start from scratch to rebuild our 455 sq. ft. deck. The installers cleaned up every day before they left and never left anything laying around the yard. They worked hard every day for 14 days and worked in everything from 83 degree weather to temps in the low 40’s (this is Texas, after all ?). These gentlemen cared about their work and it showed in their craftmanship and attention to detail. We highly recommend The Deck & Patio Company for your outdoor needs. They are a well-oiled machine and the entire process was smooth and painless. We would hire them again for future projects."

"Project went very well. I have worked with Charles before on a larger project, so I knew that he was going to be able to handle this one easily. There were some interesting challenges because I wanted to reuse as many of the old deck's posts as possible to avoid digging in the area of the pool plumbing and possibly breaking lines. Charles and his crew knew how to brace and reinforce the old substructure to minimize the digging. They did a good job in finishing the deck and skirt. Also, while he was out on this job, he helped me with a warranty claim on a balcony rail from a previous project. I was skeptical that the supplier would provide new materials several years after installation, but Charles worked with his wholesaler and the manufacturer's rep to get them to acknowledge there was a material flaw in the original rail and replace it. Then he had his guys install the new railing at no charge to me. I don't think many contractors would do that and it was much appreciated."

Initially I considered repainting the walls or installing crown molding so I sought guidance for something more tailored to my home and my personal taste. Of all the estimates only Expert offered the option of textured wall panels. They did advise, however that in the kitchen it had to be PVC or water resistant vinyl, given the practicality of cleaning and the inevitable exposure to moisture and grease. I chose two very similar designs, different materials, yet they create a seamless sense of continuity a transition from heaven to earth."
