I feel the parts and labor were high.  Work was done while my wife was at home and she didn't know much about what they were recommending. They did explain by phone to me before hand. Also, I got no detailed report on the multi part inspection that supposedly came with my heater flush. "I am very satisfied with the piping work that was done. That was the work they were contracted to do. The installation seems very professional and they did it faster than I had expected, and at a lower cost than quoted. While they did inform me that they had removed some clog material from the old pipe, it was within 1 week following the job that my bathtub drain was completely stopped up. I hired Roto Rooter to clear the drain and they said that I should have had a clean-out line put in while the new piping was being installed. American Tech did not inform me of that so I took one star off for that omission."

"We had been wanting to do this for quite some time, and then I saw a special that Angie's List was running. Anyone who has dealt with any contractor, builder, repairman, handyman, etc. - especially in Memphis - knows it is totally common for people to just not show up, or be late, never call, on and on. These guys were awesome, were in and out when they said they would be, and communicated great. After it was done, we noticed after a month or so that there was a little rust showing around the drain. I held off from calling just to see what it would do, and the tub had had a small leak for a while (which was part of what caused the problem in the first place, along with years of chemical cleaners), and when I finally called about it, so much time had passed, if they had told me too bad, I probably would have said fair enough. I mean, we're talking 7 months. They came right out and redid it and its gorgeous. It is possible because of the roughness of the tub originally it needed extra thick glaze, I don't know, but these guys are tops in my book. I HIGHLY recommend them.

1. Very responsive from the initial call.  Within a day or two, they were out to review our bathroom and discuss our ideas.  Very knowledgable insights to help us make decisions.  They stayed in contact to give us updates on the estimate -- refreshing proactive communications.
2. We picked out our tile (happen to be from Lowes).  We sent the item numbers to Paul's to include in the estimate.
3. They also put us in contact with ProStone for granite vanity tops -- very good prices.
4. Once we agreed on the estimate, they were able to start within a week.  
5. Very nice and courteous workers.  And, they are very hard working too.  Once they start, they want to finish.
6. Quality is very good; the tile looks fantastic.  Our new shower is beautiful -- we love it!

"On two separate occasion Drain Go was called in to diagnose issues at my home.
Two months ago, I noticed that my water consumption had tripled.  I looked at the meter and the white leak detector triangle was spinning.  I was convinced that I had a leak in my water main.  Drain Go came out and discovered that two of my toilets had been running around the clock.  Low and behold, two running toilets can consume 7000 gallons of water in a month!  After getting new parts for the toilet, the problem was fixed and I avoided a very expensive search for a water main leak.
On the second visit, the team repaired the heat and pressure relief valve on my water heater.  Another plumber had misdiagnosed the issue as a pressure regulator issue.  They checked a variety of things and confirmed that the repair was much simpler than previously described by another company.
Overall, these guys did a great job and are much more ethical than other plumbers I have worked with.  They never once tried to use pressure tactics or to upsell me on things we didn't need.
