"Jose and his crew replaced my existing single phase system with a new variable speed system that is quieter and more energy efficient. Jose's quote was the least expensive of four offers I received for similar 3 ton variable speed systems. They got me on their schedule within two business days after I agreed to move forward. The installation took a bit longer than I or they expected, but they got it done and did not charge any extras. On the second day the system wasn't cooling as expected. I let Sherman (the technician who installed it) know and he came out the same day to address the issue. He made the fix, admitting that he had wired the system for a different 14 SEER rating when it was a 16 SEER one. I've had no issues the past week and I am very happy with the new system. "Our AC couldn't keep up with the upper 90s. Discovered our the 29 year old condenser coil was leaking. Given that the system was using R22 refrigerant, which will no longer be produced after 2020, we decided to heed the recommendation of the technician and replace the entire HVAC system. We called a few different vendors in to compare quotes and have them provide a project scope. The Woodlands Heating and Air Conditioning provided a reasonable price for a project scope that was equivalent to the other vendors. More importantly, the technician who scoped out the project also was able to get the existing system working well enough to get us through until the install date. The install team arrived as expected and immediately got to work. The old system was hauled out and the new system was installed. The did a great job of cleaning up the mess that was the old system--both the compressor area outside and and furnace/condenser in the attic look much better. They cleaned up, packed everything up, made sure I knew how to operate the new fancy thermostat and headed out by 3pm. Even better, they followed up with a visit the following day to adjust dampers after we had the chance to see which rooms need more/less cooling. It's been a long while since I worked with an HVAC company that I felt I could trust. It was refreshing to work with Brian and Omar. I'll be looking forward to their visit in the fall to inspect the system and make sure it's ready for the cooler Houston months."
