His team was very organized and efficient. They also stand behind thier work. We had some delamination of the material and they returned two times until it was repaired to our satisfaction. "Teppo Interiors has completed half of their contracted services (ahead of schedule and on that part of the project now complete) and we are extremely pleased with: quality of the drywall repairs and painting of rooms. Teppo Interiors has meticulously repaired the walls of our 1948 home. They are now without flaw as the walls no longer have cracks, "dips, or "bulges". Even though I obviously know where the problems were/are I cannot detect most of them. The painting process has been exactly what I wanted--even when I changed my mind throughout the job. I changed colors desired in the bathroom, after the rooms were painted decided to go for a different color trim. All the changes were made very supportively by Kevin and his team of professionals. I have been kept apprised of the cost of any changes before the work's been done and the hours Kevin and his painters have been extraordinary. I am most appreciative as I will (I'm a teacher) be reporting back to work in only two weeks. I will definitely use Teppo Interiors in the future."

"I bought a special offer (via Angie's List) for HomeMade Design to provide a design for one room in my house.  I was in the process of moving into a new home, organizing it, etc. so really wanted help with some interior design.  But I was so busy that the deal ended up expiring before I could use it.  I contacted HomeMade Design and they told me that all they could do was give me credit for the amount of the deal toward a future purchase.  The thing is, I can't afford their prices (even with the credit), so I ended up throwing money away.  My fault, but I wish the deal could have been a little more flexible in terms of expiration.  We (Homemade Design and I) had never started the project so what difference did it make if we started one year later?  I still need a design and they have the money.....why can't we start now?  Note:  I would have gladly paid a little more to compensate for inflation of costs, etc. during the  time lapsed."

Rich Phelps (owner), has provided me with several services over the last several months, including demolition and construction of a new detached garage, installation of a heavy duty drain in front of my attached garage, installation of ceiling access doors in my house, and rough in of a basement washer and dryer.

I can say with no exceptions that Rich's work has been excellent.  He is very concerned about quality, cleanliness, and detail.  The garage he built is getting comments from the neighbors about how good it looks, and that is only from the outside.  He has completely finished the inside, and it looks like a room in my house, not a garage.   He cleaned up everyday after the day's work was finished, and checked in with me regularly to let me know status.  The garage is a showpiece due to Rich's focus on quality and detail.

He did a great job installing the drain in front of my attached garage.  Prior to his work the garage was subject to water coming into it from heavy rains.  (my driveway which slopes into the garage).  After the installation, which also involved concrete work and tieing into existing drainage, there have been no more problems with water (we are just completing a record year for rain, and it is still coming.

All the other work has been done to my complete satisfaction.  In the rare case where something wasn't right, Rich called my attention to it most of the time and then fixed it.  As one small example of Rich's focus on quality during construction of the garage, the bottom of two trusses appeared to be out or alignment by about 1/2 inch.  I didn't even notice it but Rich did, and remedied the situation by cutting the nails holding the trusses that were out of alignment, realigned them, and then renailed them.   He was the only one that noticed it but that was enough.  There are other examples I could give but I believe this illustrates the point.

Rich continues to do work on my house including a closet expansion and remodeling, and nex year we will be building a large deck and screened in porch.  I have already awarded this work to Rich.

"Danny Stephens, owner, D Stephens Construction LLC, did extensive repair and replacement work in our bathroom, including installing a new ceramic tile floor, and a new toilet.  Additionally, he repaired the floor and one wall in the bathroom.  The work was done over the course of several days.  I found Danny very agreeable, and willing to do all the work required.  He was responsive, also.  He returned right away (on a Sunday, no less) when I called him to correct a minor issue I discovered after all the work had been completed.  Most contractors won't do that, once they've been paid."

"I had an ice dam and called John, the owner. He sent out his assistants that day (after dark yet!) who cleared off the snow and ice, and placed a tarp until they could come back and fix the problem. They repaired the damage and then installed heated cables with a thermostat and humidistat to eliminate the ice build up in the future.
I have used this contractor before for MANY projects and have always been extremely pleased with his professionalism and responsiveness. His prices are always extremely reasonable and he stands behind his work. He is reliable and keeps me informed every step of the way.
