"I gave Chris a call today because my well pump wasn’t working. He arrived within 30 minutes of my call. I was fully expecting having to pay for a new pump, but he was able to install a part in the motor and get it running again. Thankful for an honest repair man and will definitely recommend. "

"Contacted Roto-Rooter, because I've used them back home in Northern Kentucky and I'm confident I would be treated honestly and fairly. Jonathon S was my technician and he did a great job. He listened to what I had to say and what I wanted done and he gave me an estimate for the work. He also told me what could go wrong and that it might end up costing more so he was up front with me. He was able to get it repaired within the original estimate pretty quickly. He also recommended replacing the bad galvanized section with PVC so that it would last longer. He also used the Shut-Off valve I purchased already to keep my costs down. Much appreciated."

"First time dealing with a well pump, they answered all calls and questions as I had many. Provided a reasonable price over the phone for the pump replacement, we set a time for the next day and they were there on time. The technician was friendly and provided tips and explanations on the entire process, very professional. The technician double check to make sure The issue was not electrical and cheaper for me. It was the pump and they replaced it on a timely manner and professionally. I hope not to have to have any more issue with the well, but if I do, I will not hesitate to call them again. I would highly recommend them."

"We are currently in an exception heat spell and I am running my water well supplied lawn irrigation system daily. This morning, I notice my sprinklers had not run. I checked the breaker and that was fine. I called the Ballard office and to my surprise, they said they would have someone there that afternoon. My pump is ~10 yrs old, so I was not expecting a pleasant outcome. Blane Greenhaw and an assistant showed up and within thirty minutes had my pump running at the minimum service charge. Very pleasant and professional crew. -- Great job."

FAQs for well pump installation and replacement projects in Waller, TX

Signs that your well pressure tank requires replacement include inconsistent water pressure, your pump turning on and off frequently (known as short cycling), visible leaks around the tank, or unusual noises from your well system. Physical damage, corrosion, or a tank that's reached its seven to 10-year expected lifespan may also indicate it's time for replacement. When multiple issues arise simultaneously, replacement often proves more economical than attempting repairs.

The timeframe for professional well pressure tank replacement varies depending on your specific system and any complications that might arise during installation. Factors that can affect installation time include accessibility of your current tank, whether additional components need replacement, and the complexity of your well system. For precise timing expectations, consult with the professional handling your installation.

Attempting to replace your well pressure tank involves several potential risks, including improper pressure calibration that could damage your pump, contamination of your water supply, and physical injury from handling heavy equipment. Additionally, incorrect installation might lead to water leaks, property damage, or system inefficiency. Many manufacturers also specify that professional installation is required to maintain warranty coverage, making the $125 to $200 professional installation fee a worthwhile investment for most homeowners.
