"My husband and I wanted to build a new 3 season porch to replace our deck that failed. We interviewed 3 companies to perform the work. We choose Durable Remodeling. Dean Willette discussed the project taking the time to understand what were the key aspects of the project. He then discussed the options that were available to so we were able to make informed decisions throughout the process. The quote was very competitive. Since the deck would cover the outside entrance to our basement a trapdoor needed to be built into the floor. The drawings our architect drew had a spot for the door but the design would have been too heavy to open. Dean designed the door so it was both structurally sound and functional. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and professional. The team showed up when committed, the team was knowledgeable and respectful. I always had a way to get in touch with someone to discuss any concerns I may have. When the work finished my house looked fabulous! The work was top notch. During one of the walkthroughs with the crew and the town inspectors, the inspector stopped in to tell me what a good job the team was doing. We really appreciated that. That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. He spent just about an hour on the doors and we got the talking personally and found out I lost my job due to the virus and was recently ex-military and he did to work for free.
