After reading Watry Homes reviews on this site, we contacted them in March. I had reached the point where I no longer wanted to maintain the house, and after researching siding options and speaking to other home owners, was seeking a contractor to install what I believed was the best siding solution, Hardy Plank. It was our intention to have the work done before the summer months, to avoid the disruption and scheduling conflicts which inevitably happen in high season.

Scott Watry came out and inspected/measured the house on March 17, presented window options and gave an overview of the process. Within a week we had an estimate and we gave him the commitment assuming the work would begin as soon as materials were received within a few weeks. The project did not get underway, however, until June 4th, the day I was leaving for two weeks of travel. My wife provided daily updates in my absence, and glowing reviews of Scott's workers, specifically, Paul and Rob who came in and installed the windows and doors. I met these guys later and they are true professionals who pay close attention to detail. The siders were also efficient and meticulous in their work, and cleaned up every day. The crew had a few guys, but Roberto, who appeared to be their lead, was very responsive to every question or request, and went out of his way to be accommodating. Splattered paint on a portion of our patio and sill appeared to be their only misstep.

In the end, we have a job that met our expectations in terms of quality, fit and finish. It was the punch list of several small items and requests which was emailed to Scott in mid-June that made the final conclusion of the project a little rocky. It turned out that part of the roof over our den did not receive adequate flashing necessary to prevent a leak that ensued after five days of rain. Scott insisted that it was the result of layers of caulk installed by someone else, inadequately sealing an inside corner of the roof. Dan, who was sent out later to make the repair, said the caulk and sealing had been done by their siders, and was still wet. Scott agreed to place a drywall patch in the interior ceiling where there was water damage, but I spent the better part of a day painting the ceiling, trim and walls to original condition once this was done. This put a damper on an otherwise great experience with Watry.

We totally respect Watry's workers and the diligence they exemplified every day. My feelings about Scott with him not taking ownership of the leak and the damage it caused was unfortunate because it would have been so easy to simply do so without casting blame on others. I also feel it would have been appropriate to personally stop by at the project's conclusion (today), to ensure he had a satisfied customer. As it was, he called and asked me to give a check for final payment to his worker before he left, without asking me if I was completely satisfied. In my view, the size and scope of our project would dictate that he do so. 

However, I would not be hesitant to recommend them as a reference primarily because of his crews.

I will only use, and recommend Creative Painting from now on. He is the best! Mark is very professional and understands concerns with empathy. He is able to stand by his words and his work! I recommend Creative Painting to anyone looking for any painting needs."

"This company ranks the highest with me. From the initial measuring and estimate, to the installation, and then a minor manufacturing issue, I could not be happier with choosing Superior to install my windows. It took me almost 6 months of research before finally pulling the trigger to hire Superior. I went overboard and got estimates from 9 different businesses. They used different window manufacturers and for one reason or other (my comfort with the business, quality of window or cost), all were eventually crossed off the list. In a last ditch attempt to find other service providers before having to settle for someone I already crossed off, I stumbled upon Superior! When I called to set up my measurement appointment I found out that they used a window I was already well educated on, and was on the top of my list! Ryan came out to measure, he was very knowledgeable, personable, and I felt comfortable with him. He was going to be doing the actual installation as well. When I received the quote, it was $2,500 less than an identical quote from another installer. I was already sold on the product, felt comfortable with who was going to be doing the install, it was a no brainer to go with Superior. The windows were ordered, installation was scheduled once they came in, and the whole process was flawless! Once Ryan started working, it was very obvious he is a perfectionist. The sliding door and windows were installed perfectly. I did find a scratch on the glass of one of the windows, and the office manager Stephanie, came out to inspect it and ordered a new window pane for me and then came to install it once it arrived. Ryan and Stephanie had really made this big purchase happen for me with very little effort on my part. They have handled every little issue that came up to my complete satisfaction with great professionalism. I would love to hire Superior for additional work I was to complete in my house!"

"We recently had to have our bathroom shower replaced and the drywall around the new shower was cut out about 8 inches around the new shower.  We saw the "Big List" deal for Mud Slingers (timing was great) and had them come in to replace the missing drywall.  At the same time, we had some drywall from our kitchen ceiling that was not looking great (it was installed improperly at some point) and we had some drywall in our upstairs bathroom that needed repairs, too.
Mud Slingers was great!  Chris came over and we talked about pricing and timing.  I was really pleased at the timing since one of our two bathroom showers was out-of-service until the drwayll could get replaced and painted.  All in all, Mud Slingers accomplished the job much quicker than I thought.
As for workmanship, both my wife and I were really pleased.  He was able to match the texturing that was original to the house, so when it was painted, you couldn't tell the difference.
Overall, we were pleased with their work, quick response, and overall job!
