I appreciated how thorough and transparent they were in regards to pricing and timeline of the whole project. Not the cheapest of the contractors I got quotes from but their labor and materials came with warranty and 1 day installation was worth the cost. Plus, their quote was still a bit cheaper than other well known national brands that offer similar service. Highly recommend Renken!"

"My mother recently became mobility limited and was unable to step into her tub/shower combo. I purchased a prefab accessible shower unit, sliding doors and fixtures from a big-box store with the hopes that a family member would install it. Instead, the unit (which was delivered assembled!!!) sat in mom's driveway for a month. I finally decided to have a professional install it and I'm so glad I did! Joel called me very quickly after I requested a quote and he did a site visit the next day to see the existing setup and the new unit. He explained that the unit I'd bought would be great for new construction and that it would be a challenge to get it into the alcove of the smallish bathroom but he was confident they could make it happen. We agreed on a price that was very reasonable, considering I asked them to not only demolish and remove the old tub, surround and fixtures but to also replace the 40-year-old plumbing inside the wall. They started demo on Tuesday morning and mom had a beautiful new shower Wednesday afternoon! I am soooo pleased with the quality of the service and the workmanship; Joel and his guys were absolutely wonderful and kept me posted at critical steps along the way (I'm 250 miles away and could not be onsite due to the whole coronavirus thing). I would definitely hire Joel again and the only thing I would change would be to start with him instead of buying a unit from a big-box store and then trying to get it installed. "Excellent, Dennis was prompt, courteous and he gave me a fair price. Although the Angie list deal did not mention Roman tubs, he gave me a comparable price and he was completed within hours. So far it looks like a brand new tub, haven't used it yet I have to wait for it to cure and dry, but I am happy with the way it looks, nothing like a white tub! Clean and spotless! I love it. I'll follow up once I use it."

I cannot express how wonderful this turned out. My shower is beautiful and the work is amazing. The installers were so professional and patient. I had many questions and they were so helpful. The job did take two days due to unforeseen plumbing issues- but they were able to correct the problem and continue with installation. "This was our first time using Angie's list but communication with neighbors etc prompted us to call and try.  Not only did we get a great value for the service but the company was true to it's promise. The gentlemen communicated with us right away and came out to our home ,on time as scheduled. He didn't try to sell us anything else he did his job and it was fantastic . Former quotes for this refinish job were double the amount that was paid. I have never been so happy with the service and the job done at a fraction of the cost.
