"Daniel came out and replaced the seal on the bottom of our garage door which mice had chewed through. Our door was 20+ years old so I expected the track that the seal went into to be outdated and it was, I couldn't even find it on Youtube, so a new track was required for the new seal to fit into. Parts and labor for this 8' metal track was only $50 in addition to the quote for the actual seal. I priced this out beforehand with competitors and I must say the pricing for everything with 1A was the lowest and very fair. I will definitely call 1A when needed again. Daniel...friendly, hard working guy with no upsell. Felt very comfortable with him. Could not have asked for a better man to help us out. Honestly. Thanks much! Rick"

Arno listened in detail to our wishes, make recommendations and came up with a great design for a large entertainment center covering a 17 ft wall in our family room that reflected our ideas. He was also very helpful in selecting the right wood, stain color and door styles to fit the look we were going for. His cabinets automatically come with soft close etc., so there is no upselling from the quoted price. The installation, which he did with one employee, was smooth and swift. Arno was the 5th company we had asked to quote the project and we immediately liked him much better than the other contractors (much friendlier and better at listening to our wishes), so we were really excited when he also quoted us the best price!! The finished project is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully crafted and stained. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend him!"

"My garage door was behaving erratically when I attempted to close it -- to the point where I had to manually assist' in the closing of the door.  Obviously, I needed to have it serviced.  I went to my 'go-to' site for a referral and discovered ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS on Angie's List.  The technician, David, arrived shortly after the scheduled time and proceeded to inspect the door.  He swapped out the door rollers and even added addtitional brackets to better support the door rails. Before he left, he did additional little things to ensure a quieter garage door operation, as well as giving me tips on future maintenance.  Overall, a dream experience!  My garage door now works like it did on it's initial installation some 10 years ago.  Thanks David and thanks ELK GROVE OVERHEAD DOORS !!

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. Simply put, the doors are beautiful--flawless in both construction and finish. They are similar in quality to custom cherry furniture we own."

"Jerry was very responsive. He contacted me within 24 hours of my contacting him. He found the time to conduct an estimate the same day that he contacted us. We enjoyed talking with him. He looked for ways to repair our front door instead of replacing the front door. This saved us $600 to $700. His price estimate was very close to the actual cost. The actual cost was less than he quoted. He did all of the tasks identified in the work plan, which he provided to me to review and approve the day before of service. "I would hire BMT Builders (George Smith, owner) in a minute for any and all projects. From the first time we met George, he was a straight-shooter. When we were talking about the project, he made sure we knew that he was committed to quality work. He and his assistant, Daniel, were always on time. On the rare occasion that they were late, they called early to let us know. In addition, although he had much larger jobs he was working on, George gave the same care to our small project as if it was a million dollar job. George did a thorough inspection and after we had shared what we wanted, we all went down to a tile store where George showed us our different options. Each day he worked he would explain in person or over the phone what he had done that day and what he was expecting to do the rest of the week. As usual, the unexpected happened. George discovered that our Master Bathroom (which backs up to this one) had some significant leaks. George went out of his way to inform us without pressuring us to make a second contract with him. But, since we were already tremendously impressed with his work, we signed a second contract. The bottom line was both bathrooms were remodeled in a professional and timely manner. Communication with George, Daniel and the rest of the team was top-notch ... we always knew what was going on. In addition to finding a skilled craftsman in George, we also made a friend."

"This was probably the most satisfying purchase and service experience we have had in twenty years. First the company sent their rep to measure and estimate the job and help us set up financing. When the windows were manufactured and ready for installation, the crew that came out was excellent. There were enough workers to remove and haul away old windows and install all the new windows in one day. They were skillful and careful with home exterior and interior. The Renewal windows are very attractive, energy efficient and fit perfectly. Although it seemed a bit pricey at the time, we don't regret a single penny."
