"I was lucky enough to have someone refer me to BlueStar Air Mechanical when my AC started acting up. The home warranty company confirmed that it was busted, but their mechanic was unreliable. After contacting a couple of other companies and having high quotes, I contacted Danny at BlueStar. The next morning (on a Saturday, nonetheless) I met Rhandel who quickly gave me a quote to replace my HVAC system (furnace and condenser). Rhandel was very nice and thoroughly explained my options. My home has two HVAC systems, so he also added a quote for the second system (which was on its last legs, too). The systems recommended were upgrades to what I had (increasing 1/2 ton on each system). To accommodate this, BlueStar included extra ductwork for me so that my house could accommodate. We met on a Saturday, agreed on a price on Monday, and everything was installed on a Thursday. They sent two crews and these guys worked hard for 12 hours straight to make sure both units were completed that day. I was very happy with their pricing and service. I have already recommended them to people I know in need of HVAC service. Pros: Pricing, options, promptness, service. Cons: 3% surcharge for credit cards"

"Aside from installing a new Carrier gas furnace, they installed a state-of-the-art thermostat. The comfort specialist, Chris B., was very responsive and helpful in helping me decide what to buy, as well as providing help after installation. The two installers, Chris M. and Justin B. were very personable and very neat during removal and installation of the furnaces. Overall, very satisfied. Very commendable job."

Upon returning from vacation on a 100 degree July day, I found my old HVAC system basically dead (90 degrees in my kitchen!) ... Shane immediately came out to provide an estimate, we signed a contract on the spot, and he kindly provided some freon to hold me over until the new system could be installed. "I hired Tom Noland about 22 yrs ago to put a heating and air conditioner system in my house in Nokesville. He did a great job back then. When I moved to Delaplane I contacted Tom and his company again to do some work on my house. I wanted a geothermal heating system in and they were willing to do it, but as Tom explained the new systems out there I would get a better deal going in a different direction. Sean and Matt and all the other guys who have come out to do the install of the new hvac system , hot water heater, pressure tank and generator have been great. They arrive on time they have gone the extra step to make everything go as smoothly as possible. Every guy here has been conscientious about making sure any dust or debris doesnâ t get on my carpets. The hvac system, pressure tank and hot water heater are in. The hvac system works so well that have the temperature raises seven degrees above where I had my other unit at, because it works so efficiently. I would hire them again if I needed some work done. The price is worth it."

"I closed the deal with Julian on late Tuesday night and the team was able to do the installation the next morning! Jesse gave me the details on the team as the ink was drying. They arrived on time first thing in the morning. Dan, Cal and Greg were a great team that stayed active all day. Seriously over 12 hours! They installed a new Hot water heater and an 18 Seer Lennox Heat Pump with Honeywell Humidifier and Honeywell Home Thermostats. My 17 year old system was tightly packed into the basement. I think the basement was built around it. They replaced everything...ducts, hoses, fuses boxes, wires and pipes. Everything was insulated and finally brought to code with new sensors and alarms. After working all day, they ended the evening cleaning up and taking me through the system in great detail. It has only been a couple hours but everything is running great. I talked to several vendors when making my choice. I liked several of them and they dealt with my silly process. Julian was very thorough with his pitch. He told me about the factors that differentiates them from the others. I believe I made a great choice. Merry Christmas!"
