"Moving Ahead did a great job for us with our first and very large move, and this second move (of all the furniture we used for staging the old house) was no exception.  We got an Angie's List deal of two guys and a truck for two hours.  The job went over that, and I must say they didn't charge us any extra, which was very kind and way above and beyond my expectations.

We had two gentlemen who were very professional.  They took excellent care of all our furniture - from a pressed-wood desk to antiques - and did a fantastic job with the move.  Even for just 12 or so miles, things were disassembled and wrapped, beds were treated with care, and all made it through perfectly.  

It was a very hot day, and even though the two guys helping us were sweating their hearts out, they took great care to talk to me and actually listen about the move.  Wonderful workers, and really a great company to hire.  I recommend them unreservedly.

"I called Tri Star based on the high ratings received on Angie's List.  When I called, Bill answered the phone (I didn't have to leave a message), he gave me an estimate over the phone and scheduled the work.  All in one phone call!  We agreed on a date to perform the work that was only a few days away, but to my surprise he was able to do the work the very next day due to an opening in his schedule.  In my recent dealings with contractors, I was used to hearing timeframes of weeks to months so I almost fell over when he told me he could actually complete the work in such a timely manner and in one day!  The work was performed by Bill (not sure if he was the owner), who was punctual, extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.  I left him alone for the most part, but I would ask to see the transformation from time to time.  He was more than happy to explain to me what he was doing and what steps he was taking to ensure a quality finish.  It is truly amazing how this process works.  I had the main bath tub/shower unit done along with the master bath shower stall and jetted bathtub done.  Prior to the refinish, they were dingy, stained and just plain gross.  When all was said and done, the tubs and showers look brand new!  He even sprayed the little jets in the tub.  I am so pleased with the work and thrilled that I paid 1/4 of the price it was to tear out and replace the units.  I haven't used the showers/tubs as I haven't moved into the home yet, but I'm not worried because Tri Star's warranty is great.  I would definitely recommend this company and the process of refinishing.  I can finally stop worrying about giving my kids a bath in a dingy, stained bathtub.
