"Had a sump, perimeter gutter and vapor barrier installed. Took a couple of days over the estimate due to very well constructed concrete floor. Steven, Johnny and Chris were very personable and professional. They were extremely disappointed when they were unable to hit the estimate due to the concrete being difficult to jack hammer, but they came back and worked hard and got it finished. They were as clean as one can be when dealing with concrete and drywall. Very considerate about our property as a whole and walked me through their progress every day. Would recommend."

"The county had purchased a part of our property as part of a new bridge construction.  As part of this effort they are going to replace part, but not all, of our existing gravel driveway with a relocated asphalt driveway.  However, we learned after the construction by the county had started that we would need to hire an independent contractor to convert the remaining existing gravel driveway to asphalt if we wanted that done.  The work needed was to convert the remaining section of gravel driveway between an existing cement slab and where the 'yet to be installed' county provided driveway would end.  After researching options, we selected Delello and Sons.  We worked primarily with Kyle Delello.  He and his company were great.  They coordinated with the county to gain access, and got in before the county started work on their portion of our driveway - thus elimination the potential for damage to the new county provided driveway had it been done later..  In the process, they regraded the area, and installed a drain and outlet pipe to eliminate a water build-up problem that we've had at a corner end of the cement slab.  The work was done over the Oct 9-11 time frame.  Since then we have had several heavy rains, but no more water puddling up like before.  All the workers were very professional, and willingly answered any questions that I had.  We will definitely look to hire this company in the future for any additional work of this nature. <br />"

"First I would like to say that everyone I dealt with at ICSR was great! From Erika who made the appointments to Jeremiah who did the inspection, to Terry and his crew. They were all friendly, respectful, and knowledgeable. Jeremiah explained in detail what needed done in my crawlspace. There was a lot of damage due to termites in the past. I knew this was what needed done as I had another Company look at it as well. They backed out because they thought the crawlspace was to narrow to get the work done. I agreed to Jeremiah's plan and about two weeks later Larry and his crew came out to do the work. I will say it again, Larry and his crew were great. They worked so hard and in horrible heat and humidity. They were always friendly and smiled when I saw them. Larry always let me know what they got done that day, and what the plan was for the next. They cleaned up the work area, and took away any and all debris. I have full faith in ICSR and Larry and his crew that the repairs were done right. I am so glad the plan with the other company fell through, as I think I ended up with the best!"

"We initially contacted Jaco to fix a leveling issue with our driveway that was causing water to pool up. Josh Goodman came out and was very straight forward. He doubted that leveling the driveway would fix the issue. He suggested instead to install a Box Drain and run it into our current French Drain system. After a little more research we decided on a 3' long channel drain. It took a while from the initial contact in the Spring to getting an estimate in July but then the job was performed a month later in August. After the installation the Channel Drain worked perfectly. Also, the drain itself was installed very well. Our issue was with the installation of the plastic pipe which carried the water to our French Drain. The trench was dug unevenly then poorly filled. The result was a sharp dip all along the drain pipe; like a reverse "speed bump". Also where the pipe connected to the French Drain was not buried deep enough causing the pipe to be exposed. When I called Josh he came out to look at it then I heard nothing. A week later I called Josh and he said it looked fine to him. After a 5 minute discussion he agreed to send a crew out to fix it. 3 weeks later..no crew so my wife and I spent 4 hrs. relaying the drain pipe and filling it in properly. So, I give Jaco an A for the concept and the installation of the Channel Drain and an F for the installation of the drain pipe and overall Customer Service."

"Mr. Hofmann gave my husband a written estimate & said to let him know when we decided if we wanted to have the work done. His estimate was in line to 1 other estimate we had gotten so we decided to go with Hofmann. Mr. Hofmann stated the next time he had another job on the southside we would be on the list. On November 7th Mr Hofmann & his crew arrived & in less than 2 hours had the old cement removed & the new concrete poured and everything cleaned up. The pad looks wonderful & we are VERY pleased w/the work & Mr. Hofmann."

"Mudjackers came out, and leveled the sidewalk leading up to our front porch, the sidewalk in front of our house, and 2 slabs of our driveway. They were on-time, courteous, completed the work and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied with this service, and would recommend them."

"We liked what they had in their mind but it was kind of expensive and we decided not to do it. We had not done anything exactly and we had taken some others estimates. It was all about the stats and it was just expensive as it was going to be prowling in terms of house value. It was going to be large percentage of what the house was worth and we were still kind of thinking about the idea if we really wanted to do or not. They were good people and I didn't have any problem with them at all. It didn't look like we wanted to get that much money involved in it now. Fact of the matter was that I'm retired and we were trying to best the place up to keep it going in good shape. We couldn't put that much money in it. We put $5000-$6000 into dyeing and insulation in the house. We haven't got to the concept of crawl spaceship. All things considered we decided, it was very expensive for us now and we don?t want to do it. They were fine. They had somebody come out and get under to have looked around it. We also had other company coming out but even that was more expensive. If we decide that we got that much money, then they are definitely in the list. We have to get new quotes as its very old quote now."

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Elwood, IN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
