Disappointing Experience: Shoddy Work and Amateur Skills. I couldn't agree more with the last reviewer. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing short of a disaster. From start to finish, it was riddled with incompetence and amateurism. The quality of work delivered was abysmal. It was evident that the individuals assigned to the project lacked even the most basic skills necessary to complete the job satisfactorily. The final product was full of problems and attention to detail. It was clear that corners were cut at every opportunity, resulting in a subpar outcome that fell far below industry standards. I was told to save up all of my issues until the end. Communication with Daniel was another significant issue. Trying to get in touch with Daniel after the contract was signed was like pulling teeth. Emails went unanswered for days, and phone calls were scanned and not picked up. It was apparent that they had little regard for customer satisfaction or professionalism.

Shoddy Work and Amateur Skills From start to finish, it was riddled with incompetence and amateurism. First and foremost, the quality of work delivered was abysmal. It was evident that the individuals assigned to the project lacked even the most basic skills necessary to complete the job satisfactorily. The final product was rife with errors, inconsistencies, and blatant disregard for attention to detail. It was clear that corners were cut at every opportunity, resulting in a subpar outcome that fell far below industry standards. Communication was another significant issue. Trying to get in touch with anyone from the company was like pulling teeth. Emails went unanswered for days, and phone calls were met with vague promises and excuses. It was apparent that they had little regard for customer satisfaction or professionalism.

Using World Class Remodeling, LLC, was a very disappointing experience. We were impressed with the eager friendliness of the owners at our first meeting. We met with them after viewing our friend home, which was nearing completion by this company. Although they did a substantial amount of work on our home and the design was very attractive, the attention to detail was seriously missing, leaving numerous areas of our house incomplete, poorly executed, or damaged. Their earlier promises to address these issues have been unfulfilled, and they have refused to contact us for over six weeks. We asked them to return our house keys, but they have not. More details are below, but in short, save yourself frustration and added cost, including the need to hire other vendors to correct the job. The remodel would include most of the first floor and exterior painting. Two and a half months was the original estimate, with an additional two months for added remodeling. The original work was completed in 3 months, and the last work done took 8 months. The pace of work slowed to about 4.5 months, with a lot of work to be done. On many days, there were no workers on the job. Toward the end, I had difficulty getting Daniel on the telephone. We reported problems with the construction as required by the contract. Daniel told us there was no need to do so. His crew would do a complete walkthrough at completion, then correct any problems they discovered. At the final walkthrough, we could point out any remaining problems. We took Daniel at his word. That was a big mistake. After slow progress and cancelled appointments, we finally made a partial list of deficiencies, including: (1) The lights above the bathroom sinks were installed upside down, with the large mirrors resting on the counter. (2) The wall paint in the master bedroom, living room, front bath, and stairwell was very thin and inconsistent. They tried to correct some of this by spot painting, resulting in shiny areas on the flat paint. (3) The craftsmanship and finish on the stairs are awful; the steps are dull in appearance, too much wood filler was used in the wide gaps, and the side boards have an inconsistent finish. (4) Two sets of three-way light switches and a bathroom switch do not work properly. (5) Our wired alarm system no longer works, as the wires on the windowsills were either cut or pushed under the sill before they were caulked over and painted. (6) Our shutter frames were torn out of the kitchen windows by subcontractors, and the pieces were left in the elements; then some were lost. WCR, LLC, refused to take responsibility for the shutters and the security wiring. We will have to purchase new shutters and put in a wireless security system at a great cost. At our last inspection of the house, we arrived with an updated list of the outstanding items. We had sent a copy to Daniel. After going over part of the list, Daniel handed us an updated invoice, and the meeting was over. The invoice showed a balance due of only $844.59 (the original final payment was $5,371.35). Daniel called us a week or so after our last meeting. He asked us to send a check for the balance due, and he would return to the house and work on some of the remaining items. I mentioned our contract states: 50% of the final balance is due on the final walk-through if more work is required. We had already paid more than 50% of the final payment. I said I was going to withhold the remaining money until the work was complete. That was the end of the phone call and the last time we heard from Daniel. I did send him a letter requesting that he abide by the contract and complete the work, and I would gladly pay the amount we owe. But the remodelers have disappeared, and we still have not received our house keys. Take my advice: do not hire World Class Remodeling, LLC, to renovate your home.

The fence between our house and a neighbor's house had blown down. In addition, the security gates were not working properly. World Class Remodeling replaced the old fence and installed new security gates in less than a day. This was in December 2022 and the weather was cold and windy. They worked into the dark! The fence and gates are beautiful, and the new gates work properly.

What a lovely bunch of people. We give them 10 out of 10 for their effort and willingness to satisfy us. There are certain things we not satisfied with but after they tried to resolve the issues we eventually preferred to live with them instead of continuing to try fix the issues

Previous owners had installed a deck cover consisting of plastic panels/sheets (2x12). The cover leaked every time it rained. World Class Remodeling replaced the leaking deck cover with metal panels. The arrived on time, finished the work in less than a day and cleaned up after themselves. The finished cover is wonderful....it started raining the very next evening and has been raining all day today. NO LEAKS! And it looks so much better than the plastic cover. We can actually use our deck, even when its raining. Great job!!!

I do not recommend them!

Response from Company:

Hi Hector, Now for the full story: You breached our contract, were dishonest and went behind our back thinking we would not find out. You were then given the opportunity to remedy the issue and yet still decided to lie and breach the contract. We are sorry you thought that taking those types of actions was the best way to form our business relationship. We wish you the best.
