Very thorough and professional. Several things going on and was explained to me why the problems occurred. Answered all my questions and was treated as a valuable customer and not just a number. First time I've used Morris-Jenkins for plumbing needs and would recommend them as well as call them for any future problems.
They came the same day that I called.
The first tech to come out to fix my unit did not conduct an actual inspection of the unit and just claimed to have found a leak and pumped refrigerant into the unit. He claimed on his invoice that he did a full inspection and weighed in the charge with digital scales. He did neither of these. After my unit was still not functioning just right and doing the exact same thing the next morning I had them send out a second tech. The second tech found my condenser coils were clogged and cleaned them out. He then found the pressures were way off and decided the first tech had over charged the system. He ended up pulling just over 2 pounds of refrigerant out of the system. When the second tech was honest about the first tech failing to do a correct job and did not make any excuses for him, I can't recommend a company based on the idea that "if you get the right tech" then the work will be done right. The manager I spoke to claimed this was the first time he had heard something like this about the first tech, but his failings were so blatant that I find it hard to believe. The second tech also told me that there would be no charge for the second visit and they did NOT make any attempt to charge for it.
Very thorough but a little expensive
Professional came out the same day contacted. Able to fix the issue in a timely manner. Did not try and upsell me on anything; fixed what was causing issue. Gentleman was very polite and professional. Would definitely recommend Morris-Jenkins for any heating/air issues.
