After a long series of HVAC contractors wanted to do more work than was required, Marcelo and Ralph were able to thin down the issue to two components that needed replacing, saving me thousands and getting my central A/C back up and running. He's willing to think outside the box and gain your trust and business. I deducted a half star only because Marcelo's supplier gave him the wrong part TWICE, leading to two wasted trips to my house. This was really not Marcelo's fault, but if you order part A and get part B delivered (twice), it's not a flawless experience. I would not hesitate to call Marcelo again for repairs on my heating and cooling systems. He's a great guy running an honest business.

I called Marcelo when my home heating system stopped working. He responded and came to look at the system the same day. He explained what was necessary to repair it and, at my request, he ordered the new part and returned to install it and complete the repair as soon as possible. I was very impressed with the quality of his service and had him also do the annual maintenance of the heating system. Marcelo does professional high quality work, is knowledgeable, thorough and honest in his work, hardworking, efficient, punctual, courteous, patient in answering my questions, and charges very reasonable rates for his excellent service. Marcelo and his partner came out on a Saturday to look at our unit - and spent close to 3 hours diagnosing our problem. I was amazed at the depth of care & follow-thru in trying to find a real solution - not just a short term fix. Ultimately, they found something that appeared to be working - but didn't want to charge us until it ran for a few days... even then, Marcelo drove to a local distributor to see if they had any other suggestions and followed up a few days later to see if everything was OK. It was! At the end of the day, we got a very reasonable invoice for the hours worked and someone to add to our Favorite Vendors list. Highly recommend!

Our AC died late on a Friday afternoon, of course. Marcelo, the owner, called back shortly after leaving a message. He was able to come out and diagnosis the issue and resolve it quickly. His pricing was extremely reasonable, especially since it was an emergency call on a Friday afternoon. I would definately recommend him.

After looking at it and assessing the scope and cost, he came back right away to repair my AC. Not only did he stay late in an effort to complete it, he explained the issues and the fix in layman's terms so I that I felt confident he was taken the correct approach to the repair. I found Marcelo via home advisor when my AC unit stopped working in the middle of the night on a saturday. He called me within 10 min of sending my request. He came out & unit was fixed in less than an hour. I couldn't even get my company that I have a contract with call me before monday morning! He's professional, courteous and honest. Marcelo's customer service and repair work was great. He promptly fixed my central AC and did so in the most cost effective manner possible. I selected him based on recommendations from other customers on HomeAdvisor and join them in their praise of Marcelo.

Marcelo is great, I highly recommend him. I called him on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend and he came out the next day. He did a thorough inspection of my system, made the necessary repairs, and then tested it to make sure everything was working properly. He is very knowledgeable and gave me some tips on how to run the system more efficiently. It just so happened that my neighbor was having AC issues the same day and when Marcelo was done at my house (around 5 pm) he went over to my neighbor's house to inspect and fix his system. I will absolutely hire Marcelo for any future HVAC needs.

Marcelo was prompt, honest, hard-working, and knowledgeable. He came two days in a row to clean and repair our central A/C unit and didn't ask for payment until he was done. He spent hours cleaning out our old system yet only charged me for the quoted cleaning repair plus minimal parts. Marcelo have me an quote to install two air conditioners that I could not refuse. He arrives on time, is knowledgeable and will offer best possible and cost effective solutions to your HVAC issues. He does not overcharge like majority of HVAC operators in this business do. He is soft-spoken and will deliver as promised on time and will do an excellent job. He was a breath of fresh air as far as dealing with HVAC operators in his honesty and upfront communications.

Marcelo did a great a job! I had installed a new thermostat and my house became freezing cold. I called an electrician but he couldn't fix the problem. Marcelo was very accomodating, polite and most of all competent. I was on the phone when he finished the work, so he just left me a note and left. I had to call him, thank him and ask him for his bill and address. I will definitely use his services in the future.

WE HAVE A FULL ONE YEAR GUARANTEE ON PARTS AND LABOR. I HAVE HIRED HIM TO COME BACK IN THE SPRING TO SERVICE MY AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. I had a Mitsubishi split air-conditioning system that was damaged as a result of a lightning strike behind my house. The strike came to the house via the Invisible Fence line that encompasses the property of almost 2 acres. I called one of the larger HVAC companies to come out and evaluate the damage. I was informed that they would have to replace the units because of the damage. Two other larger companies also came out and gave me estimates for replacing the entire system. Not one of the technicians could tell me why the lights were flashing on the inside unit! I told everyone I wanted the new system put in just like the old system. That is, the lines were placed inside the walls. They all wanted a contract signed but it didn't spell out what I wanted so I did not go forward with this. The current system finally pooped out completely so I decided to order the system myself and put it in just as I had done with the original unit. I wanted to work with a smaller company so I went online with home advisor.com and based on the reviews; I chose Omega Heating and Cooling operated by Marcelo Rocha Lopes. Telephone number is 774-386-4888. He returned my call promptly, and I explained that I wanted the refrigerant removed from the current system. He said he would be out the next day to empty the system. He arrived at my house when he said he would and completed the job promptly. While he was here we talked about having him put in the new system for me. Marcelo gave me a good price so I gave him the job. He and his partner arrived on Saturday morning, put in the new system and had it up and running by Saturday evening. He took away the old system and cleaned up the area thoroughly. Marcelo was a pleasure to work with, returned my calls promptly, including follow-up calls as needed. I was extremely pleased with what Marcelo had done for me and very, very happy with my choice.
