I contacted Riverdale looking for some last minute tree trimming as my HOA needed my trees cleared around the fence on very short notice. Riverdale was the only company willing to make the time to take care of it. He came out in the evening after a full day of scheduled work just to help me out. Charged a reasonable price and was very good at what he did. He was very knowledgeable and helpful when I asked him about some other tree maintenance concerns I had. He provided reasonable recommendations that we plan on having him come out and do. Would highly recommend Riverdale to anyone.

Ray was very professional, from bidding, explaining/educating me and then the work. All of his guys were very polite and professional. I believe most definitely I got a good job for the money. Ray's work is excellent but his paper work and attention to detail is NOT. I was given a bid for Ash tree treatment for EAB and pruning. Pruning on a Silver maple and systemic treatment. Included in the bid, Ray offered to remove dead branches from aspen trees. I asked him to e-mail the bid to me. I thought he would give me the written bid he had prepared as he took a picture of it with his cell phone. He did not do either. The job was completed and suddenly the itemized costs completely changed. It was not an all inclusive bill anymore. The systemic treatments were removed from bid and added onto the original cost. I asked again for orig bid and he said he did not have it. The only change should have been an additional $75 for a tree removal which I approved. To add insult to injury, his math calculation was off by $50. We have been scammed. The $1075 due was increased to $1322 which he wrote as $1372 another $50 was scammed. I should have known when the refusal to produce the orig bid that we were in trouble. The sad thing is that Ray's work and team were all we could have asked for. I really trusted this man. I sent Ray a text the next morning and asked him to review his paperwork and call me. He responded OK but did not contact me. I dont believe he intends to. Lesson NEVER go with gut. Demand paperwork and accounting! I will use any recourse open to me such as getting the word out to our Homeowners Assoc. BBB and neighbors that asked for bids while he was here. Just very sorry that such good work cannot be celebrated. The bid was given June 13 and the job completed June 15.

Ray was excellent: timely, thorough, knowledgable, friendly and reasonably priced. He and his crew will do a great job for you too.
