"This is at least the second time I've used Metzgers and they are great. My furnace made a terrible squeaking/whining sound New Year's Day night and because I wasn't sure what it was I turned it off.  I called them first thing in the morning and I know they were swamped with jobs that day since it was the day after a holiday.  And, to complicate matters, I had to leave my house at 12:45 that day.  The woman I spoke to was very pleasant and said she would have a technician come out by noon.  She called around 10:00 to say Nathan would be at my home shortly.  Nathan is the same gentleman who fixed my air conditioner in 2013.  He has a very calm and easy manner about him and listened to my description of the sound the furnace made and determined was something that was loose and just needed to have some silicone put on it.  I asked if he would ck the filter and he did (and it needed to be replaced) and then took care of cleaning some other part that he said would be a good preventative.  He was here less than 30 minutes and the furnace no longer made the weird sound and everything had a happy ending!  :)

"The day before Chrismas Eve our furnace went out. Have had other problems with my furnace so we decided to replace it. I called four other contractors and they all said they could get to me sometime after the first because of the holiday. I have a three year old and I need heat.
