"If I could give this company a 6 out of 5 stars I would! They did a fantastic job overhauling my mother's deck, back patio, fencing, and front portico. All of the work was absolutely essential for safety and structural reasons, and I'm so glad I chose OSSA to do the work. My mother has Alzheimer's, which presented additional issues, but the entire crew was incredibly kind, respectful, and understanding of the unique challenges they faced. They were responsive and kept me aware of everything regarding the job along the way. My mother is so pleased, and I have the peace of mind that all of her outdoor space is safe, beautiful, and accessible. I will be hiring OSSA to do some work in my own home, as I look to make necessary improvements in the future. I've told everyone I know how how wonderful they are. 6 out of 5 stars!"

I was surprised that there was more sealing and protection applied to the underlying structure than I anticipated, more than code requires, and the deck should last a long time."

"We write this review as a sigh of relief now that our renovation project with River View is finally complete. The quality of the final work is excellent, and the construction crew, architect, and county inspector were all great to work with. The original crew we worked with, led by Edwin, were so hardworking, friendly, thorough, and fast. That's what really pushed us from 2 to 3 stars. However, the process getting here was frustrating and unnecessarily chaotic. Timeline & Communication Issues: Initial promise: We were clear that the renovation had to allow us to live in our home during construction and be completed before Christmas. Early communication: Our original project manager, Cris, was personable, and early communication seemed fine, if a bit informal and sometimes inappropriately personal. Major miscommunication: Near the holidays, we discovered that the plans submitted included cutting into the roof — something we explicitly said we didn’t want. This contradicted verbal assurances and caused major last-minute changes. Project Management Failures: Poor planning and oversight: Cris and the architect’s plan didn’t align with the construction work. We had to get involved directly with the county to fix errors. Paperwork errors: Incorrect submissions to the county added delays and confusion, which we had to monitor ourselves. Last-minute scramble: We were cleaning up dust on Christmas Eve due to these planning failures. Personnel Turnover & Lack of Handoff: Cris leaves the company: No proper handover to James, the new PM, who was unfamiliar with our project. Crew replaced: The original crew, who were great, were gone; new crew had no context or direction. James leaves: Another handoff with no context — the third PM had no idea about our project or its outstanding items. Escalation mishandled: When we raised our concerns with Kyle, the CEO, the response felt dismissive, with no accountability for the previous missteps. In summary, it's a beautiful end result... but we’re glad it’s over. The process left us frustrated, confused, and frankly, exhausted."

"I didn't have a great experience with HAL Co. They take FOREVER to return calls/emails. The day they were scheduled to come replace my fence they no-showed and I had to call the office around 4 pm to find out they weren't coming because a job was running late. The rescheduled installation was a day I was in the office. The crew said the outlet in my back yard wasn't working, so they left without calling me or ringing the doorbell to ask about it (the circuit just needed to be reset, which my partner at home could have done). I didn't find out until several hours later when the office called to tell me the crew had left. The fence finally got installed, and a few days later a neighbor found nails in two of his tires. The crew claimed they performed a metal sweep of the area, but now the neighbor is trying to get me to replace his tires. Finally, the gate latch got damaged somehow, possibly in a storm that happened a few days after the fence install, and HAL wanted $130 to replace the latch. I bought a latch kit off Amazon for $30 and did it myself."

"Miguel came to our house as one of 5 estimates I collected for this project--by far the person I was most comfortable with based on his knowledge of the process and ability to answer my questions about drainage, materials, timeline, etc. Steadfast's pricing was also very competitive compared to the other estimates I was given (in some cases, $2-5k less)--and their ability to schedule my project resulted in less of a wait than some others. Miguel came by the day before the project began with the project manager Joel, to mark the yard and make sure we had all details worked out--I adjusted several small details of the project and wanted to address where digging would take place to preserve tree roots. Each of my changes were made, and my concerns addressed. Joel and his team arrived promptly each day of work, and worked HARD. The project was complete in less time than predicted, and the the product is just beautiful! A flag stone patio and resurfaced stairs that we will enjoy for years to come. Omar at the office was responsive and communicated billing and scheduling clearly. Overall, we are extremely pleased and would use Steadfast again in the future!"

From the start it was executed properly from a beautiful design, grading away from house, putting a sturdy, non-destructible base with layers of gravel and stone and then the beautiful papers. Nelson, a truly skilled mason and professional, was reliable, efficient and methodical in completing the project for us on time and within budget. The recent patio refurbishment refreshed the patio and made it look brand new again. I highly recommend AVEC."
