"A very professional operation - from the appointment to the installation to the testing and deployment. Glenn is a jovial and knowledgeable gentleman who paid attention to detail and despite being on the business development side of the house, he wasn't trying to just sell me a bunch of stuff or tell me to buy a bigger system than I needed. The appointment system with an advance, en route text notification w/ GPS that includes photos of employees is a smart idea. Installation was smooth, despite a torrential rain storm. Crew consistently wore booties, face masks (due to COVID), went above and beyond to deal w/ unanticipated issues, and cleaned up nicely after themselves. House is almost cold now as the new system works so much better than our older one. Pricing was competitive with others (did my due diligence). Appreciate Presidential's friendly service and would recommend them."

"Very satisfied with responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism! Danny was able to squeeze us into Blue Star's full schedule at a time that worked for us and called before the visit for clarification about the problem, and after the visit about how things went. John called before arrival to let us know about exact timing, and was very thorough in investigating the problem and then explaining the situation. After consultation, he was able to repair our system. John also discussed what to look out for in case there are problems in the future. We have had our AC unit serviced regularly by other companies, but we will never use those other companies again. Blue Star is superior in every way! Cannot recommend highly enough. "Going to take two visits, but that is because they wanted to see if when the unit thawed the fan was still working and save me over $1000. Turns out the fan is shot. So, calling them back, but I know they will be able to fix it. They have done work for me on this unit before. They cannot service all units, as I have a business and they weren't able to fix that one. But, they said that when they got there and looked at it before they spent a lot of time or money on parts, so at least they are honest."

No wonder, I finally got around to shopping for oil and found a local reputable heating oil supplier and service for slightly over $1 less per gallon! Service was fine but given what I now have I was paying far more for EQUAL service. This is a large conglomerate of bought up oil companies. Not even local to me."

"I had a leak somewhere in my heat pump system from 2013 in a 4 floor condo building. Every other company was quoting me $7k+ to replace the system but it turns out to be a leak in the line set between the 3rd floor and the roof! We had a new line set installed and I spent $2550 in total! The crew was very professional and worked extremely had in the hottest weather to get the job done, too!"

"We returned from vacation on a Saturday night to find out that our A/C system had died on us while we were gone. I put in a quote request with JDL and someone contacted me within about 30 seconds of my request. A tech was able to come out on Sunday to assess the situation. Ire was extremely courteous and professional, explaining everything along the way. One minor problem was that we needed a new motor (which died while Ire was here) and they had to order the part, which he said they would do first thing Monday morning. While they did, it was going to be another day before it arrived. I asked if there was something that could done, but unfortunately they needed to wait for the part to arrive. A bit later, Ire called me back to say that they were going to drive way out of the way to pick up the part and get someone to our house later that day, avoiding both a large overnight shipping fee and another brutally hot night in our house. Isak showed up and was courteous and professional as well. He explained the work and explained that our system was working, however inefficiently. He explained how we could fix the issue, and laid out the costs for us. We had to decline as it was out of our budget, which Isak completely understood. I'm not sure about other reviews, but at no time did I feel pressured into buying a product or doing something unneeded. I really appreciate the work they did, their customer service approach, and their overall knowledge and professionalism. We are likely to hire them back based on this service."

"I have been a customer for a very long time and this scheduled maintenance and dryer vent cleaning was done by Cesar. I have to say he is one very thorough technician and I was very pleased with his inspection and vent cleaning. His service was so different than some of the ones I've had before. I even had one inspector tell me he didn't need to check in my attic which houses one of our two units. Let me tell you about Cesar, he even cleaned up behind my dryer for me. This is something that is rare in customer service. I have my HVAC seasonally maintenanced and never had a inspector be as thorough as him. The pictures he took and explained to me and the one problem he found that no other inspector had found in all this time. I tried to spare him from the attic heat for the repair and have him return on another day in the morning but he didn't mind going back in there to fix the problem for us although it was in the dead heat of the day. I just hope the company sees this review and knows what a good technician they have in Cesar."

"Briggs Heating and Cooling has been our go to provider since we renovated our home in 2005. They are experienced, supremely responsive and personable professionals who truly care about their customers. They go out of their way to get it right. We have trusted them so much that we introduced them to my elderly parents’ home years ago. My parents have adopted them ever since. We have had several projects this year alone, some routine maintenance, some much more complicated. Each project was handled the same way. First, my parents have an old AC and “Trevor’s guys” come out every year to service it. Their gas heater required a new switch which, because it was an old unit, took a lot of effort to find and replace. Next, our newer AC had a valve malfunction, and Briggs’ went way out of their way to properly diagnose the problem. As a precaution, we received a second opinion. Not only did Briggs’ diagnose the problem properly, they fixed it at about a quarter of the cost that the other service provider would have charged. Most recently, a couple of weeks ago, a leak was detected in my parents’ newly installed gas fireplace logs which Briggs had not installed. They met me at my parents’s home within an hour and had it repaired in another hour. And their prices are always extremely reasonable. This is small business done right. In northern Virginia, they are a breath of fresh air."

The were at my home by 11am on Monday and the repair went very well. They were friendly and professional without being overbearing....so I will switch my furnace service to them."
