"Brandon came out on a Sunday and looked over the job site for details needed to present an estimate. Within a day I had the estimate with 3 options from low to high, all of which were reasonable the only difference being what equipment I wanted to install. Option #1 and #2 were lower end brands that were less expensive but since the difference in price betwee Option #1 and Option #3 was about $1400, I went to Option #3 which was their top tier brand, Carrier that clearly is an industry leader and trusted brand for longevity. I was installing a SINGLE ductless to cool a standard bedroom size room with a 18,000 BTU unit. The job took a total of about 5 hours since they were mounting the unit in a second floor bedroom and they needed to run the power/refrigerant lines two stories down to the compressor mounted on the wall. Everyone from Office Staff Jim to installers were absolutely wonderful to deal with. You can trust this company."

"Over all it is okay, but there is some missing piece's here. My thermostat does not work, but everything else is pretty much okay. 

Installed new cooling unit, and updated/corrected whatever problems with the duct work. But the thermostat needs to be in a different location. They filed an inspection so we are waiting for that. They corrected a couple problems with the duct work. 

It would be between a C and a B but there is that serous problem with the thermostat. Overall the material was good. There were about 3 or 4 people. It took a good part of the day. They left it clean. 

I think its all going to get resolved.

He worked with my attention to details as I chose the AC and heating units that I wanted and, at my request, put every detail in writing. "Bryan was the technician who serviced the call. He was very nice, professional and took time to go through many options of why the unit wasn't functioning properly. He took the time to explain to me/show me why the capacitor (the original, lower quality one that was installed by manufacturer 7 years ago) wasn't functioning properly (45 units of power should go to condenser, 5 units of power should go to fan, but his instrument registered only 0.5 units of energy going to fan). This caused the fan to not work properly, which could have caused the condenser to work too hard and overheat. We replaced the Capacitor with a high quality one so enough power is going to both. Bryan inspected tightened all the bolts and the result was a smooth running A/C with less vibration and less noise. He did not try to sell us equipment we didn't need to tell us we needed to replace our A/C unit, which we liked. We greatly appreciated his help with fixing our A/C unit. We will contact Southland Heating and Air for our future A/C checkups. Thank you"

"Nick returned calls promptly and arrived on time.  I asked him to text me when he was on his way, and he did.  He was nice to work with and explained our options along the way.   He initially came to our house on 4:30 on a Monday.  Then he came back Tuesday with the first necessary part.  He then ordered the new furnace and installed it on Sunday, which was perfect for us, since we didn't have to take time off from work.  The replacement went smoothly.
