"We had a bad experience with Benjamin Franklin. We had a leaking facet in the laundry room and decided to change out the washer facets. The company send out a very inexperienced but a great salesman Plumber. Instead of just changing the facet heads, he talked us into changing out the whole washer box and putting shut off in the garage, it sounded real great at the time, but was totally unnecessary. After the inexperienced plumber damaged our walls, left the repairs leaking. When I called him and told him that the repair was leaking he said that he would put us on the schedule, well a few days later finally we get the Manager to come out with a better plumber to fix the leaking pipe. After the new lines were ran and the washer box finally installed the right way for the most part, come to find out after the Manager left, one of the pipes was still leaking. well all in all the good plumber finally got all the leaks repaired and our wall repaired. Beware of high priced simple repairs from this company. Better to use a small company plumber than a major company. I will not hire them again."

"I hired Michael's Plumbing to fix a toilet that was constantly running. After they performed the initial repairs on 02/13/2018 (replacing various parts) the problem persisted. My tenant called them and they returned twice but the problem was not fixed. My tenant and I called at least 5 times and no one called us back until I posted negative reviews. After that, someone called and advised that the toilet is old and can't be repaired and they would replace it with a newer model toilet at no additional cost. They apologized for the failure to communicate this information. The new toilet was installed on 04/28/2018 and so far it is working great."

"Scheduling the appointment was a little more difficult than it should have been--the office seemed poorly informed about the Angie's List offer and not very helpful in responding to me as a purchaser of the offer. Once the appointment was scheduled, though, the office's communications were timely and helpful. The inspection and cleaning of the gas logs was quickly done. I was surprised to learn that our gas fireplace logs are not rated for the firebox we have, but the technician supplied the documentation to support that bad news. He even emailed the pdfs from the company making the firebox and the company making the gas logs to support the incompatibility.
