We are the North Alabama representitives for the Bona Certified Craftsman program. We sand and finish hardwood flooring using the Bona dust containment system, and are all Bona certified Craftsmen.

"Mike did an awesome job with our hardwood floors! They were very scratched up and had a clear coating that was peeling everywhere. With a 1 year old that wasn’t going to work. The job took close to 2 weeks and Mike worked extremely hard to get it finished even before the 2 week time estimate we were given. The floors look absolutely amazing and the stain color is exactly what we wanted. There were so many pros to this job, I hate to even list the cons. Occasionally Mike wasn’t very responsive or wouldn’t answer texts. I understand when running a business things can get a little crazy, but this happened more than once. Better communication would have been a plus, especially when someone is displaced from their home. We had to ask several times for him to come back and replace the doorway trim pieces. We also have stain in several places on our painted walls. Not sure how we can get it off. I know these jobs are messy but we were a little surprised to see so many spots other than the baseboards. Overall the job was great and we would recommend Mike and Planet Hardwood."

After this they installed all new Laminate water proof flooring in the living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, 1 bathroom, and 2 bedrooms. And then they installed quarter round in all these areas. They did a great job of moving big pieces of furniture or appliances around to complete the install. And, they cleaned everything up! They did all of this in 1 1/2 days. Their price was far below any competing contractors. I would hire them again! Outstanding!"
