"Chris and Maria are the consummate professionals. They personally visited with us, reviewed the job scope, made helpful suggestions about things like the furniture move-out/move-in and promptly provided a quotation for the work which was very reasonable and thorough. Their crew came exactly as scheduled and performed the work, as scheduled, with excellence. This included: - sanding all of our downstairs hardwood floors, two sets of stairs and an upstairs landing area (about 2,000 sq ft total) - repairing a defect in the original hardwood floor with matching white oak planks - installing new in-floor wood registers for the HVAC system - applying stain and multiple coats of polyurethane on all bare wood - adjusting the stain color so that white oak and red oak planks now look identical - installing all new quarter round molding and disposing of old - basic cleaning of areas where floors were refinished All of the work was performed as scheduled and for the agreed-upon cost. Maria was very gracious to send her crew back to redo the first step on our front stairs because the circle of balusters on that step made uniform sanding and staining impossible. (We removed the balusters before calling them back.) They also returned for touch up after I walked in an area that was still wet! I would highly recommend Freedom Renovations for floor refinishing. This was our third project with them (they installed new flooring in two upstairs bedrooms) and they exceeded our expectations on all three jobs."

"We called Nicholas Tile and Bath after another contractor we had hired did an awful job installing tile in our shower. The previous contractor was suppose to install a shower door too, but the tile was so bad we didn’t have them back to install the door. Tom came out to give us a quote on just installing the shower door but pointed out to us all the problems with the tile work that had been done. So we hired him to tear out all the previous work and start from scratch. We are so glad we did! Tom and his team did a fantastic job! It looks so much better! Also had them take up linoleum flooring and lay tile. We should’ve gone with him from the beginning. They were pretty punctual with just a couple of exceptions. Very professional! "This is the second time we have had Burgess Flooring come out and do work.  The first time was the laminate in the kitchen and living room and then this time it was to finish it off by doing all 3 bedrooms.  They showed up on time and got to work and finished up in record time!  This included carpet tear out and also helping to move a few larger pieces of furniture out of the way.  We plan on having them back to tile a couple of bathrooms in the future and they definitely will be the ones we call if we get another home and need the flooring done!

Work was finished by noon on Thursday, and he threw in extras such as putting a coat on the decorative wood around the stairs - he even fed the cats. The floors look amazing!
