"I first hired this company more than a decade ago when the tiles in my South Florida home started ‘tenting’ ... a condition resulting from various causes, but very common. They addressed the issue then with expediency and competnence and then restrained my grout lines... floor looked new again. Over the years, other areas of the floor have become ‘hollow’ and ‘tented’... Universal is the only company I would call. They do there best to accommodate my work schedule, their pricing is fair, and their employees are fantastic... Oscar is my ultimate favorite. I just had them out again (unfortunately for me, but again, a force of nature here where I live) and am doing additional work with this company to improve the appearance of my now 23 year old tile floor. "At first, we thought that they were just going to repair the existing wood floor, but after talking to the owner, he said that there was a room that had to be replaced entirely because the planks were in very bad conditions. They got us a great price on the new Oak floor and store it in their warehouse until it was ready to be installed. We thought the process was going to be messy but it was not! They handled everything very carefully, protected our furniture, and vacuumed the area after they sanded the floors, which is pretty much the hardest part. We did a natural refinishing, no color change because we love the natural look of our White Oak Floor. It’s has been amazing to hear all the compliments our floors get from friends and family. Wonderful people to work with. Very friendly and affordable."

"Fresh Kitchen was great to work with, from the initial design to the finished job.  We were given a number of alternative ways to design the job, had access to great materials.  The workers were punctual and professional.   In a job this big, issues are likely to arise.  The Fresh Kitchen staff was very responsive and took care to alleviate any concerns we had.  Overall a really great experience and we are thrilled with our new floor and kitchen!

"I hired a handyman for a day. Carlos arrived punctually and I went over the list of items I needed performed. I was not sure if everything could be completed but he set to work and did an amazing amount in just 8 hours. He repaired a broken kitchen drawer and broken cabinet. He reattached a wet bar that had come away from the wall. He affixed a vanity in the master bath that the original workers had not attached to the bathroom wall and then replaced the faucet fixtures. He removed and installed a new kitchen faucet set. He removed 4 overhead fans and replaced them with new fans I had purchased for 2 bedrooms, the living room and the patio. He also removed a very old unpleasant grass like rug on the patio and helped me to clean and remove old crusted dirt and detritus from the walls and hurricane shuuters and together we got the concrete floor in perfect condition for him to install a new outdoor grass rug as replacement. It looks like a brand new space. He worked hard and steadily and even took apart one of the fans when it would not cooperate initially. He took 1/2 lunch break and went right back to work. He did not charge anything extra on top of the deal I purchased. He was a good guy who knew what he was doing and worked very efficiently. At the end of the day he carried out all the old fans, hardware,boxes, and junk that had accumulated. And helped me cleanup. He was a very good communicator with a good grasp of the English language. I thoroughly enjoyed working with and highly recommend him."
