"I will hire them this company in the future and serve as a reference for them.  This was a first class company.  They arrived on time, they were dressed in shirts with their company logo, they were complete professionals.  They were also very helpful in helping me understand the heating & air conditioning system in my new home.  I can't say enough about these guys.  They get an A+.  Especially since my new home was such a difficult job because it's 80 years old and has 14 heat pumps.  They were ready for the challenge.  It was truly a pleasure to work with this company and their crew.

"Jim is local.  It went great. Jim Ferrell is a professional of the highest caliber. Responded quickly, took care of my problems, and advised me as to better means of protection than I had. He came back a second time to uninstall software that I purchased that did not provide adequate protections and installed free software that would do the job.  He did the work through remote connection, but is available on site if necessary.
For those people needing help on getting red of malware, viruses , etc. on your computer,  Jim is local, better than all thse remote out of state location providers, is a mature, highly trained professional in this area.
If you go to local computer stores you get very young people that can do a basic job, but are no where near the professional level of Jim.
I highly recommend Jim to anyone that needs these type services.

"I completely trust Onesource and Paul to give me honest recommendations based on what is best for my house, not what is the most expensive service to purchase. I plan to have Paul address 3 more projects over the rest of the year.
Paul was professional, worked very fast, and clearly very knowledeable about HVAC and plumbing.

"United Cooling Systems was very responsive and professional from the start. I was difficult to reach by phone after initially contacting the company, but they persisted and we finally caught up. We scheduled a time that evening to review the job. All of my questions were answered and a quote was drawn up immediately. There was no pressure to accept right away as I was in the middle of other quotes. Unfortunately, my wife and I decided to go another route. It had nothing to do with the company, just the type of equipment I wanted installed. The quoted price was great, as was the service to that point."

"Fan venting had to be adjusted, requiring 2 trips. This was not due to faulty fan installation - but due to how the venting was done with the old fan.  1st installer did not know why fan ran noisy.  Company did call me to ask if I was satisfied, and I told them about the noise situation.   Second handyman found the problem and repaired the venting so that the fan now runs quiet. Company uses contractors - which I didn't know when I purchased Angie's "Big Deal".  Cost was more than I thought I would be spending, but the handymen were friendly, considerate; the company cared enough to call back to see if I was satisfied and the job was completed. I would try them again because of the good follow up, and the considerate handymen.

"They came out and noticed that there was a low charge on the heat pump and noticed that there was some corrosion on some of the pipes so they figured there may be a leak in the system. As a result I will be getting a new unit altogether that is covered by the home warranty that Choice has provided. The only out of pocket cost that I need to pay for is any modifications and fabrication that needs to happen to integrate the new system. So in total I am paying $550 for a $5000 system."

FAQs for radiant floor heating system installation projects in Aurora, IN

Heated driveways either heat up with electric coils or from hot water flowing through pipes, coming from your boiler. These electric cables and pipes are generally only a couple of inches under the surface. As they heat, they heat up the thermal mass of the asphalt or concrete, which melts away the snow and ice. They usually run for an extra period after all the snow is melted to dry out the surface and avoid ice accumulation.

Heated driveways will melt off snow at a rate of about two to three inches per hour. The actual rate of melt depends on the temperature you have the heating set at, the type of driveway you have, and the climate you're in. Your driveway will melt much faster in 32 degrees than it will at zero degrees. So expect your results to vary a bit.

Heated driveways may crack if the embedded heating elements are positioned too near the surface or if a system malfunction occurs. This issue arises when the coils or tubes are not installed correctly, resulting in stress on the pavement. Once the heating system is fully corrected, the necessary repair involves sealing the cracks and resurfacing. This process restores strength and ensures lasting durability.

When installed and maintained correctly, a heated driveway lasts between 15 and 20 years, on average. Proper installation using professional standards and regular maintenance of components such as the boiler and wiring guarantees long-lasting performance. Consistent care and timely repairs secure the system's durability, ensuring reliable operation throughout its expected lifespan.

A heated driveway increases home value by enhancing curb appeal and ensuring safety during snowstorms. This reliable system adds a high-value feature that stands out in areas with heavy snow, reducing the need for manual snow removal. Homeowners benefit from improved aesthetics and energy efficiency, which contributes significantly to overall property marketability.
