"OK.. this was my first experience using Provident Electric and I now know why they have been voted Frederick's Best ( Frederick Magazine ). I had contact with them before, once when the owner Larry came out and gave me a great estimate on a generator which I am buying as soon as possible, and the other when I had an electrical problem that magically cleared up when his techs entered the house. ( I"m not saying that Provident has supernatural abilities but ......) This fix I needed was two of my lines from the breaker box were showing open grounds and Provident sent out two technicians, Joel and Nick. They worked together really well and I was impressed with their attention to the details and even more importantly how they were insistent on letting me know the why and how they were fixing it. Once they got the problem fixed, they discovered an another electrical issue dealing with a rodent chewing into my line and fixed it. Bonus: It was about half the price I expected too and I have used a lot of electricians in my time as a landlord. From my experiences with Larry, Brittany, Joel and Nick, it's obvious that Provident cares a lot about customer service and frankly, I don't see you'd use anyone else."

"Everything was excellent. The team identified the hole in our pool liner. On the day of replacing the liner, identified a potentially severe issue with the structure of the pool. Provided a recommendation for a replacement pool. Proceeded to remove the old pool and excavate the land in preparation for construction of the new pool. Once the new pool arrived, they constructed the pool and constructed new outline landscaping around the pool. We are now the envy of our neighbors who have all watched and gazed in amazement at our new backyard oasis. For all of your pool needs, this is who you need to contact ASAP."

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"Budget Landscaping could not have been more timely. Scheduled a time between rain days so our yard was nice and dry. The crew arrived around 8:45 a.m. and continued working until 4:45 p.m. All of the limbs in our yard were picked up, the leaves mulched and put on tarps and loaded into their truck hauler. The drainage ditch, front yard, side yard, and backyard look fantastic. Their professional grade equipment did the job in one day that it would have taken us at least 2-3 full days to do - with many multiple trips to the landfill. Budget has a high grade mulcher which was invaluable for our yard. We did agree on an additional price which we considered reasonable considering the amount of work that Budget Landscaping performed. At no time did Budget slack off just stayed with it until the work was completed. I would both recommend Budget and plan to call them if our yard gets this bad again or if we do any other projects.."
