"The team arrived with A/C units that were the wrong size. To their credit, they were able to locate the right sized units and have them delivered to the house. I did have to re-sign quote paperwork though and I ended up having to pay more than what was originally quoted even though it wasn't my fault that wrong sized systems showed up. It wasn't alot more, but still. The install crew worked really hard and got the systems installed that same day and it is working much better than the old system which was on its last legs. However, I had asked them if they checked the airflow in each room and was told that the airflow in each room was good. I had also told the crew about a broken ceiling vent in my son's room and was told it would be looked at and fixed. After the crew left and the A/C came on, I went room to room to check the airflow coming from the vents and that's when I discovered that there is very little air coming from the vent in my uppermost bedroom and in both vents in the living room. I contacted my point of contact (POC) at McCrea about this situation and he told me that we are waiting on a response from the installation manager - that was 3 days ago. Also, I was told that the financing paperwork that the crew gave me to sign was all that I needed to do and McCrea would take care of the rest. However, the day after the install, I was contacted and told that I needed to go to their website and fill out a form for financing. When I told the POC about it he was like, "Yeah, go to the website and fill out the form". No apologies for the miscommunication or anything. The positive is that the installation crew was professional and worked really hard to get both systems installed in a shortened time frame due to the snafu with having wrong sized equipment. Negatives - (1) The miscommunication about the financing paperwork (2) The installation crew showing up with the wrong sized units (not their fault) (3) The vent still broken in the one room and (4) Insufficient airflow in some rooms. (5) Having to pay more for a mistake that McCrea made. Still waiting on an answer from McCrea as to if they are going to fix any of these issues. I'm happy to update this review if McCrea resolves outstanding issues satisfactorily."
