"Mike and Crystal were very professional from the first phone contact through the completion of the work. They showed up on time, their work was neat and they worked very efficiently. My windows were in pretty bad shape. They really took their time and prepped them very well which showed in the finished product. When asked to redo or touch up anything it was done without question. In the end we received a very good paint job on a timely basis and at a competitive price. I have already recommended Mike's Painting to others in my neighborhood and would use him again for future painting needs.

"From the start, during the bid process, Michael was responsive and personable. His prices were competitive and he was thorough in everything he did, from drafting his initial proposal to submitting his final bill. He stuck to the initial contract and subsequent change orders so there were no unpleasant surprises at the end of the project. He sent daily emails with pictures of the day's work so we could see his progress. This was much appreciated given that he was working on a vacation home and we were not in the area to see the progress in person. When we were in town, Michael always made himself available to meet with us to answer questions or go over his work. Michael is also a great resource to bounce ideas off of, as he is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of home repair and remodeling. Michael's finished product was excellent and we intend to use him in the future.

"It was difficult for the guy because our gutters were pretty clogged but he did a great job and also made some recommendations. I don't remember when this service was provided; it took me a VERY long time to write this review. I rated punctuality as N/A because I honestly don't remember whether they were punctual or not, it was too long ago. I thought the guy was good, though."

"Tech arrived within time frame agreed upon. He checked out thermostat. Found it defective and had to order replacement. Has not yet finished job, but i expect to hear from him as soon as he acquires replacement to schedule installation."

"After setting a start date Mr. Hargrove failed to show up and sent someone who we never met to pick up the installment pay. He was not knowledgeable about the job he was contracted to do. The railings were not installed correctly in fact it was a safety issue - if leaned on one could possibly knock it over. Called several times requesting him to repair, made false promises. To correct the problem we hired someone else to correct the job.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
