"This is the second time we have bought a HVAC system from them (we have upstairs and downstairs units). Ryan showed up for the estimate exactly on time. He carefully inspected everything (even took a video under the house) and then laid out several options for us. He really knows systems. He suggested a special filter system because my wife has asthma. We selected what we wanted and made an appointment for installation. The team that came to do the installation was also punctual. They were polite, professional, and hard working. They were also pretty quick. There was a lot to do to replace our system, and they were done in half a day! One of them stayed behind when they were through to help me program our new wifi thermostats, which ended up not being easy. He was so patient through this process. They cleaned everything up very well. Our system is working really well. This company exceeded my expectations with after-the-sale service. Wow. I recommend them!"

"AC Tech Aaron was highly knowledgeable, amicable and was able to solve an issue that previously caused ARS to replace a newly installed HVC system with another new system, however, Aaron was the one to solve the ongoing issue I had with both current and previous systems. The issue was, the AC simply was not efficient enough to cool my house, reason, the air filters were severely clogged. Solution: Aaron applied a commercial degreaser, then washed both filters, this dissolved an accumulation of over 10 years worth of gunk and soot like dirt. Thanks to Aaron, my AC now is finally running to its full capacity without compromising its efficiency or causing it to overheat or worse, break down. I would recommend ARS to at a minimum inspect and equally clean all AC filters as that would go a long way towards resulting in a far better AC/HVC performance with better efficiency. "Needed to replace a 25+ year old HVAC system in the coldest months of the year, so I contacted Advanced Environment Solutions for a bid. I worked with Tammy at AES to schedule the inspection, follow-up, etc. - a fantastic employee. Courteous, professional, and really knows her stuff when it comes to HVAC. Unfortunately, I live in a condo with a tricky indoor/outdoor HVAC set-up that ended up requiring a fairly specific indoor unit that AES did not offer, so I had to go with another company. Still I felt compelled to leave a review for AES and Tammy to highlight their professionalism and service-oriented approach. WiIll absolutely consider AES for future projects."

"I had my SC evaporator unit freeze up right before the temps started reaching 100. I called that night, and they came out the next morning to investigate. ( had to wait for the unit to defrost before they could diagnose it) We discovered that it was low on Freon, which caused the freezing, but when we opened up the cover to the evaporator, it was completely rusted. The lack of airflow caused the unit to rust out. This was the original AC installed 24 years ago. They also discovered that the builder undersized all the duct-work. the size of the return, couldn't supply enough air to the system. (yes, i checked the math, and they were correct). They gave me several options on replacing the unit, and I went with the most efficient, highest SEER rating, since we're planning on staying in the house at least another 10 years. They replaced both the furnace, and the AC unit, and ran all new, larger duct-work, they arrived promptly at 8 AM, and the crew finished up around 6 PM. There was an issue with the mainboard controller (factory problem), and they followed up and replaced it. The whole crew was polite, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. The new unit is much quieter, the airflow downstairs is dramatically better, and hopefully, I'l start to see those energy savings in my next Dominion Power bill :)"

He identified a faulty installation in our heat pump secondary heat, and we now have hot air coming out upstairs in the winter for the first time ever. "The technician who came out diagnosed the problem as a stuck reversing valve, which was going to be about half the cost of replacing the unit. He also suggested, since we recently purchased the home, to call the home warranty company, as the repair should be covered. I had him repair a separated duct in the crawlspace, which the previous owners had failed to do.
Ultimately it turned out to be a faulty defrosting valve, but I appreciated that the technician suggested using my home warranty, as I forgot one was provided.
