"They did excellent work, on time, and on budget. Their workers were courteous and made sure the work was done right. I had them install railing on my deck, wrap the deck in PVC board, and add river rock under the deck. I also had them repair the roof to my shed and repair the rock facade to my front porch. "George was very professional when we first dealt with him and did a satisfactory job.  However, when we wanted him to do smaller jobs, he did not respond or set up dates to come and then did not show up nor did he call.  His father, who is the actual owner of George's Painting, came to our house for an estimate to have 3 closet shelves installed (the metal mesh type) for hwich he wanted $650.00.  We thought that was entirely too much as the material cost less than $100.  We looked for someone else off of Angie's list and got an excellent person who only charged $200 which was more reasonable and on top of that did an excellent job.    In addition we are having numerous other things done at reasonable prices.  Had I waited a bit longer, I could have gotten my house painted much cheaper as well.  George is overpriced and does not respond when you call or will he make an appointment with you and then not keep it.  I am glad I found someone else who is capable of doing what we want, is professional, does excellent work and his price is more reasonable.    I have already had work done by this other company and we are very satisfied.

The latest involved renovating a garden room, which included repairing and painting walls, hanging new doors, re-plumbing a sink, installing recessed lights, rebuilding an outdoor stoop, and lots more. Rene does any project I've asked him to do well, and always does a little extra to make it even better. He discusses options with me and offers what usually turn out to be great suggestions. "We hired GSB for a large addition to our home and were happy with the final product. We initially presented them with rough sketches of what we wanted. They were very attentive and came back with a better vision of our space, including the addition of a powder room and wet bar. We stressed our desired for the addition to preserve the mid-century modern look and feel of our home and they delivered. Construction progressed at a solid pace, with various work crews showing up each day. They took great care to move furniture out of the way of construction and carefully installed temporary walls to separate the new construction from our existing living space, which we continued to occupy during the entire project. Interior tarps were also used to minimize the introduction of construction dust into our HVAC system. They showed great attention to detail in our project from the suggestion of materials to the final workmanship. The overall construction quality was high and the finished product has won rave reviews from visitors to our newly-renovated home. GSB’s contract was simply-written and included notations about possible surprise costs. We noted we wanted to change our roof shingles; they were up front with the fact that our sub-roof may also need to be replaced so we could budget accordingly. This minimized the mid-construction surprises often seen on reality home renovation television shows. Overall, we were happy with GSB on every phase of our project and expect to hire them again in a few years for some interior improvements we plan."

"Fernando cut and removed all the mortar joints on my stone walkway. Then he installed new mortar. He showed up on the date and time we discussed and the work was completed on time. He was clean and respectful of my property. He took the time to carefully remove old mortar and preserve our existing stones. The walkway looks great and we plan on hiring Fernando again!"

"Our kitchen renovation with CRG Remodeling was a joyful and delightful experience. Honestly. Cornelio's professionalism, knowledge, accuracy and insight are highlighted by his warm, caring personality and desire to please. When have you ever heard that about a contractor? We have lived in this house for almost 40 years so this kitchen renovation has been long desired. We had a basic layout plan, but Cornelio patiently advised us when we made the inevitable tweaks (some of which were considerable). Cornelio's suggestion for cabinetry, (which was, of course, a big ticket item), was perfect for our 1950s knotty pine kitchen/living area. Rather than installing tile, he suggested we extend our barn board wooden floor into the new area to keep it uniform. We were worried it wouldn't look right with a different wooden pattern but agreed to put an edge separator if needed. The floor installation team came and perfectly matched the 60 year old floor! Cornelio improved our vision with his suggestions and gave us a kitchen we never dreamed could look so good. His crew worked 6 days a week; they were consistent, prompt and thorough. They never complained or refused a request, even when I had a change of heart over a plumbing arrangement that had already been completed. Our house is small. When the crew was here, we had to work around each other at times. The men were all so respectful, polite and caring. They were diligent about trying to keep down the level of dust and cleaned up thoroughly at the end of every day. His guys didn't blink at the prospect of replacing numerous exterior support logs (we live in a log house), that had dry rotted. They had to refashion pine logs my husband had harvested from a farm years ago for this purpose. When Cornelio saw the logs, he said: "No problem. We will make them work." Cornelio said this many times throughout the process, with each new request I made. And things always "worked out." After the crew repaired the extensive dry rot damage to the exterior of our house, I came home and found they had stained/painted, not just the area that was repaired, but the entire back of the house! When I asked Cornelio how much more it would cost, he said, "No extra cost. It had to be done to look right." This was their habit in all that they did. They did it, "right." Cornelio's work ethic influences each member of his crew. These men are efficient, trustworthy and professional. We had a lapse in time for the installation of our soapstone counters, which we had previously contracted separately. Cornelio's guys perfectly prepared the cabinets for the counter installation crew and it all went seamlessly. They returned to finish the job and completed every one of our detailed requests in two days! I highly recommend CRG Remodeling for any of your renovation needs. We've already asked Cornelio for an estimate to redo our basement. We know we have found our contractor for life!"

"I hired Jack to replace brick front stoop with new concrete porch and step. He also repaired my stucco and replace some wood on our Tudor style home. He went above and beyond for me. Work was done well and on time! I forgot to mention he also repointed bricks. I would hire him again. He was reasonably priced."

"It went wonderfully. The workers were professional and nice. They cleaned my yard every day when they finished working. I had a crumbling retaining wall. But to get to the wall they had to take down an 100 foot vinyl fence. Besides that, my neighbors shed is 3 inches from my property line. They could not bring in any machinery. They dug everything by hand. I was amazed how well they worked together. It really was like an assembly line. They worked fast and good. It took them only 3 1/2 days to finish the project. I’m so glad I decided to use A Plus Exteriors. They get 5 stars from me."
