"In addition to being prompt, responsive, and professional Carlos does great work. My initial call was returned within a few hours and he was at my home doing a walk through of my projects within a few days. His prices are very reasonable and while he works quickly and efficiently, he also takes the time to make sure things are done well and thoroughly.
Overall, Carlos spent a few days at my house - some of the projects were a bit more problematic than we initially thought thanks to an older house, but he stayed until the work was done. In addition to other repairs, Carlos repaired / restored an original 1949 interior door that must have been kicked in by a previous owner. It was a bit difficult, but he spent some time trying to make it right. I didn't expect perfection because of the type of damage, but he didn't feel comfortable charging me the full amount because it didn't meet his personal standards (even though I was satisfied with the result).
Carlos is a keeper and I'm extremely happy to have found him. He's honest and hard working and has a lot of integrity around the quality of the work he does. He's someone who I feel comfortable coming to my home and I will definitely be using him for other projects and upgrades around my house.

"Thus far we have been extremely satisfied with the work Todd and his crew have done!  This is our first house purchase and there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done.  We interviewed 4 general contractors before picking Todd at T James Construction.  We found T James Construction through Angie's List and now know first hand why all the reviews we read are abundantly positive.  Todd listened to what we wanted and provided thoughtful advice.  He knew that we wanted top quality work, but were on a budget, so we are grateful he was able to work within our budget without compromising his quality of work.  He's been conscious in helping us save money by noting that we didn't need to replace some of the wood in the kitchen that we thought needed to be replaced and advised against buying a new window when the current window could be easily fixed.  We also had random knicks and holes in some walls and he repaired them all as a courtesy.  He's been very good about keeping in touch throughout the process and even taking our calls on the weekend.  Since we were living in the house while all this work was going on, he and his crew were very good about cleaning up at the end of the day.  Todd has also been very flexible with working around our schedule; we delayed in ordering the kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures so Todd could not continue with our original schedule.  Additionally, he provided us with advice for some minor work that we wanted to do ourselves.  I'll update this review once everything is completed, but I can't imagine that anything would change from what I've already stated.   A great guy to work with and great work as well!"

"Process began with a visit from Rob Rowe who was very punctual and knowledgable about available products.  He provided an initial estimate and then my wife and i decided on a more elaborate window design that was going to be much more costly and out of our budget.  Rob negotiated a bit with his supplier, worked with us and we were able to meet in the middle on price.
The installation was completed in a couple of days by Javier and his crew.  When we found some cracking in the stucco patch work they did around one of our doors, Javier returned to complete the work to our satisfaction.  Later, we asked Javier to return to fine tune the doors a bit so they would lock more smoothly and securely and he came right over to handle it.  
We've been very happy with the doors so far and appreciate knowing that they are guaranteed for as long as we own our home.
I would definitely recommend SGK to others looking for a reliable window and door company.

We worked with Nathan as our general contractor and he was great.  Fantastic timely communication and a true dedication to making sure everything was done right.

The main piece of work done was the renovation of our downstairs bathroom.  Nathan helped with the general concept and design ideas.  He was great to collaborate with and even found a knowledgeable vendor that had a great tile selection where we went together to pick out the tile and accents and vanity top.  The foreman, Saulo who worked in our place did great work, was polite and courteous, and cleaned up nicely every day since we were living in the space while the work was happening.

The work was done on schedule, even a bit early, and more than exceeded our expectations.  The bathroom is gorgeous and the attention to detail was meticulous.

Once we completed the bathroom renovation, we also hired Nathan to install a new vanity top and sink in a second bathroom, to do some general repairs to walls that were cracking and had major nail pops, and also to build a small closet upstairs.  The work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price extension.

Overall, it was a great experience - I really enjoyed working with Nathan, he's a great contractor who clearly cares very much about the quality of his work and the experience of his customers.  Highly recommend Nathan and Goodfellas Construction to others for jobs big or small!
