We used all Top of the line Gould Equipment. I probably should call Doug to replace it again because breakdowns with the water system can leave you stranded."

"Everyone from Presidential has been friendly and helpful -- great customer service! Glenn came to our home to discuss options to replace our furnace (fuel oil) and AC systems with a heat pump. He immediately understood that we were looking for a heat pump eligible for the new tax credits (unlike another company, who only provided estimates on what they had in stock). He prepared the estimates for 3 different models on site, and he noted that the heat pump eligible for the tax credit would cost about the same as an older model (unlike what the first company told us). We were able to schedule installation quickly, and then the adventures began. Harvey and Andre were here for 12+ hours...because a wire was either never connected at the factory or came loose during shipping. We also had to replace a defective line from our house to the unit. While it was a complicated install (not the fault of Presidential), we rec'd great service from hardworking staff members. Highly recommend!"

"Furnace was not operating because the company's automatic delivery system ran me out of oil.
Technician showed up promptly and got the furnace operating but could not get heat into the house. Had to reschedule to have zone valves replaced. Technician show up late and didn't have the required parts. Had to reschedule again.
The third technician showed up on time with all the correct parts and worked most of the day to get the system operating properly.
He was completely knowledgeable and very conciencious that everything was working correctly.

"I was impressed by how hard working and thorough the workers were. They hauled the old gas water heater out and got the new one installed promptly and did a neat job. They reconfigured an awkward gas pipe near my washing machine, replaced an exterior gas hose with a UV resistant one, and checked all gas piping including our gas fireplace. We were very pleased with the end result and appreciated the fair pricing. Highly recommend."

"It was worth the cost to have a spacious vehicle and not to worry whether they would show up and be on time, but on the return trip there were plenty of cabs waiting at the Metro station, and we paid one of them less than half that. "I called in the morning to see if they could get me in for a brake job that day and they said yes, when I got there I asked if they had time could they take care of the 100k service and a few items I wanted to check and replace if needed if they had time.   They said they would call me with an estimate on the brakes and offer some options on the other services I requested.  They called me 30 minutes after dropping it off saying the brakes still had 40% left.  The whole reason I thought it needed brakes was the dealership had told me in January during an oil change that they needed replacing, the serpentine belt needed replacing,and so on.  I skipped doing the brakes and did all items on the 100k mi service and looked at some other wear items.  In the end I did the required service at 100k, transmission, transfer case, front and rear differential fluid flushes and change.  The list of things I had concerns about and like to replace just due to age, they inspected and did not recommend replacing at this time.  I have always gotten my service done at the dealership for all my cars, this experience along with the reviews here that led me to contact them in the first place changed that.

He walked us through the available options and fully answered our questions which made the decision easier. He also worked to take advantage of manufacturer discounts and to arrange the installation. The day of the installation was pouring rain but the team worked around that without complaint or mess to our home and were finished by mid-afternoon."
