"Excellent experience, they were quick to respond, schedule and answered all questions. Very punctual and polite. Did a great job identifying and fixing the issues quickly. Went above and cleaned the unit as well and talked us through the process with some tips. Finally have working AC. Highly recommend."

"Closing on a house. Contractor received $3900 for furnace work. Owner claims he personally serviced my furnace. I’ve got a furnace that doesn’t work, dirty filter, no apparent work done until a technician was called. They replaced a gas valve. Furnace still doesn’t work. Owner of the company, Jason, says he refuses to fix the furnace."

"We’ve worked with Nate twice now and he’s been consistently solid both times. We had such a great experience with him the first time so there was no question who we were going to call when this new issue came up. He really listens and investigates to ensure that he knows what the problem is. He was respectful of our home, tidy and worked efficiently. We’ve already spoken yo him about some tune up services in the near future as we just really trust his work. We recommend him with zero hesitation and a lot of enthusiasm. "

"Very courteous, totally knowledgable professional. We have hired him (through home warranty) for preventative maintenance work on our heat pump in spring and in fall. Every time he's been on time and very efficiently examined and maintained our system. We've never had a problem with his work or with the heat pump with him servicing it. He's totally reliable and a genuinely nice guy. We recommend him without reservations."

FAQs for heat pump repair or service projects in Bonney Lake, WA

Heat pumps move air to cool or warm your home during different seasons. In cold weather, they extract heat from the outdoors and bring it inside to warm your home. In warm weather, they remove heat from your home to keep it cool. This efficient heat transfer increases indoor comfort, improves energy efficiency, and reduces the need for additional heating systems.

Replacing a heat pump costs between $4,200 and $7,900. The actual cost depends on the type of heat pump. Geothermal models are the most expensive to replace, with the price of the unit plus labor ranging between $6,000 and $20,000. Air source models cost between $4,500 and $8,000 to replace, while the replacement costs for a mini split unit run between $1,300 and $8,000.

The average heat pump is designed to last about 14 years, roughly the same as a central air conditioning system (12 to 15 years). Newer models can last 20 years or more. How long your heat pump lasts depends on how frequently you use it and whether you perform routine maintenance like annual tuneups.
