"Re-Bath removed the tub and tile along with molded backing.  They reworked the plumbing and leveled the floor for the shower base.  They replaced baseboards and drywall that had been damaged by water leak.  Also, brought a drawer for vanity where one did not exist.  It was measured incorrectly, so they had a new one made and installed it within the week.  They were neat, clean and professional each day they were here, not just waiting until the end to clean.

That is more difficult work, as each panel has to be constructed from several planks. Moreover, the clear finish would leave any flaws more visible. "Fixing someone else's work is always the worst job a contractor can take but Mr. Evans took the job on. All of the work was done outside and it was during a time where it rained every day. I knew that he had taken the job thinking he could finish it within 5 days and scheduled the work as so. Because of the rains it took him almost a month to finish the job. It was no fault of his that it took so long and I admire him for sticking with it and not only finishing the job but doing a wonderful job with it. He designed all of the Trellis work himself and it is beautiful. He built a custom gate for a fenced in section of the yard and that was also first class. He hung some antique doors from India on our fence and like everything else he did a first class job. He is a very conscientious and honest man and we feel blessed that we found him. I think some of the problems the other people had were caused by all the rains we have had that played havoc with his schedule. We are  going to use him again to fix the roof on our deck (also done by another contractor on Angies List). Again we found him to be a very conscientious and honest man and enjoyed working with him and were very pleased with the work he did.

"I bought a supposed set French doors off Craigslist and called William Anderson for an estimate to install them. He gave me a very reasonable estimate so I told him to proceed. Well, it turns out the doors were not a set but 2 separate doors that were not even the exact same size! With a lot of knowledge, skill, many trips to Lowe's, perseverance and patience on his part my doors were installed and are beautiful. Wish I could post a picture to show the frame and the trim work that he did to make them work. While he had the old frame torn out I commented that my oak floor needed some help. The previous owner had put a 2x6' section of tile in front of the doors which I hated. He removed the tile and thin set and added new oak boards individually. No one could ever tell it wasn't part of the original floor.

When I looked over William's reviews on Angie's list I saw mostly A's in quality of work and I am in total agreement. I totally understand punctuality and promptness may sometimes be an issue when a job such as mine takes much longer than anticipated. However, I was very pleased that he took the extra time to do it right instead of rushing through it. I was happy to compensate him for the extra time it took but not once did he ask for more money than his original bid.

I might add, too, that he and his crew were very amiable and pleasant to work with! I'll definitely call Anderson's Family when I'm ready for my new deck!
