"Weather Busters send a crew of three early this morning.  They kept busy removing all piping etc. of the oil unit and then installing a natural gas boiler.   They reinstalled all the associated piping and wiring.   When they were done they took the time (even though it was getting late) to check to make sure everything was working properly and explained the functions of different parts installed.  They left the booklets and all the information with me. I received a fantastic job again through Angie's List.  I recommend them to anybody installing a heating unit.   When finished, and without stopping for an evening meal, they cleaned up the work area very well.  I am overly pleased of the great job they did.  I joked with them by saying they will be paid with pennies.  But they are worth every cent I paid.  Thanks again The Weather Busters.

"We own a home-based business which relies heavily on our computers operating efficiently. We have had a service contract with another computer repair business for several years. Recently when we were having problems with our computers, we tried contacting our service contractor multiple times. He never responded. Feeling frustrated, I contacted James at North Alabama Technical Services and explained our situation. He instantly came to our rescue. He "cleaned-up" our computers and took care of all the problems we were experiencing. He went above and beyond to help us in our dire time of need. "The phone was answered promptly.  The Operations Manager Coary answered all of my questions patiently and fully.  Scheduling was swift.  They gave me a roughly 3 hour window for the technicians arrival and Coary called me 1/2 hr before to let me know they were on their way.  The technicians Ray and Ray were extremely professional.  They answered my questions expertly.  They took measurements to determine whether some of my units were underpowered (which I was fairly certain was the case).  They gave a cursory check to my electrics to see if I could easily rewire for more powerful units (I could).  They took my existing units away for cleaning.  The units were cleaned and serviced quickly, and were ready to be reinstalled, but it was apparent that two of the units were underpowered (and 1 was overpowered).  Coary and I agreed for me to purchase 2 new larger units and shuffle the remaining units around for better cooling.  As I now owned 7 units currently on their premises, and only needed 5, there was a little back and forth about what to do, and price revisions, etc.  I initially disagreed with Coary's proposition, and had a very strong opinion of my own.  Coary and I negotiated a fair settlement.  He was patient, professional and accommodating at all times.  They came and reinstalled 5 a/c units, again punctually and professionally.  I also arranged to have them clean my dryer vent.  Coary also put me in touch with an excellent electrician who came and changed my wiring while the a/c's were in the shop so I could use the higher BTU units.
My initial call was placed on a Friday, by the following Monday we had the Certificate of Liability, and the technicians were in and removing the units.  They were reinstalled the following Friday, and it could have been sooner, but we needed time for the electrician to do his work.  I feel that this turnaround could not have been faster.

"Our 2 central A/C units never properly worked after moving in to our new house 3 years ago. They leaked for 2 years causing water damage in our unit in multiple rooms on multiple floors. Our tenant's mini-split A/C units never cooled his unit properly. I had the original installers come to the house multiple times and they never properly diagnosed the problems. One time they took the blower motor back to the shop to repair, coming back with it the next day only to install it backwards. The original installer then stopped returning my calls. My guess is they realized what was wrong (everything their fault during install) and what it would take to fix. Out of frustration I started searching on Angie's List and Yelp last summer and found Arick and Amtech. Arick was very fast to respond via telephone and equally quickly responsive to come out to the house to make an assessment and give us an estimate. The team had to do extensive work on the compressors outside, but last summer was the first summer since shortly after moving in that I was not nervous to run the A/C. Our units worked great thanks to Amtech. Arick's guys did work and an annual summer service on our tenant's mini-split A/C units, and all seemed to be running smoothly until it started to get very hot outside (tenant's unit is on the first floor and his apartment is naturally cool, so he does not need to run his units often). I was out of town and my tenant called to say that his apartment was not cooling down--in the height of summer--so I called Arick and he had his team out the next day. On the first trip out they found that there was a coolant leak and would need to come back with more time and equipment to diagnose where it was leaking. Luckily, on the next visit they found the leak in the lines outside at the compressor, and not somewhere in the walls of our tenant's unit. Amtech fixed it and--not to jinx anything--everything ran great for the rest of last summer. I would definitely recommend Amtech, and will be using them again soon for my annual system check up / service for our house."
