"Computer had been acting up for a while but I kept putting off getting it fixed.  After reading all the great reviews, I decided to give N.A.T.S. a call.  So glad I did.   Jim was able to resolve all my problems remotely - no drop off or pick up necessary - so convenient!  I feel like I have a brand new computer, it runs so well and FAST too.  I couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.  My only regret is that I didn't call him sooner.

"Everything went fine, and all the buildings look a lot better. They did a good job. Everyone was most polite and nice. I think they had another job going at the same time as this, but as I was not in a big hurry, this worked out just fine.
I would suggest definitely checking everything out after the work is done, with Landon Morgan. There were a few extra things that I saw that needed some work, and they did these things right away.
Southern Kentucky Home Pros takes cash, checks, and also credit cards, but if you use a credit card there will be a 1 to 3 percent fee. I wish they did not do this, but that was the policy. Just a heads up. Also, you will need to pick some smaller things up after the work is done. But I'll bet this happens no matter who you hire.
One thing I did not notice until later was that a replacement door did not have the same features as the old door. I wish I had caught this before the job was done. So I would suggest if you have a door done, be sure to look at it right after or even before it is installed to make sure it has the same lock features you want. But the door itself looks very nice, and they installed it very well. It is a LOT better than the old one, all in all.
On the plus side, I really liked the prompt return of my calls, and they gave an estimate right away for me. Other places I called for estimates (more than once) did not even return my calls at all. They also started so I am very happy that this company did the needed work for me. Everything really looks SO much better now, and I am most pleased with the repair work.
After the work was done, I noticed some other places that needed work, but I'm sure that when the painters come, they can deal with these areas.
Mr. Morgan shared his expertise and let me know what needed to be done next, and my options for later. He also is looking up contractors I may need, for no extra charge to me.
To wrap this up, I am overall very pleased with the work of this company, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done on their house or trailer."

"Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."

"I contacted Don about getting a quote on doing the shingling off my roof as there had been wind damage. Donald was the most professional of all the contractors that I had requested quotes from. Because of his pricing and also professionalism  my wife and I decided to go Eastern Contracting (Donald Bragg). Donald showed up on the date and time that he gave me for the start date the crew that he had with him were pleasant and very hard working. Donald recommended the shingle color to match our house and was dead on the Shingle color makes our house look great. He used top of the line materials on the roof and I must say he did the work as if he was doing his own house. You do not get many people today who treat your place like their own. The crew was there early and did not stop until it was dark. As great of a job that they did the clean up was just as impressive. If you need any roofing or work done you can not go wrong in hiring this company. He will be my go to guy in any construction type of work. They would only let me give a A rating but I would give him a A+.

FAQs for swamp cooler installation and replacement projects in Brownsville, KY

Swamp coolers are quite energy-efficient, using only 15% to 35% of the electricity that traditional central air conditioning units consume. This can lead to significant savings on your energy bills. However, keep in mind that swamp coolers require water to operate and may not cool your home as effectively in extremely hot or humid conditions. When considering overall efficiency, it is essential to weigh both electricity and water usage, as well as the cooling needs specific to your local climate.

Evaporative coolers only work in dry climates because they cool by moistening the air. If the air is already moist, this will have little to no cooling effect. Central AC is a better choice if you live in a humid climate, such as the Midwest, eastern, or western coastal regions.

To install a swamp cooler on a roof, a local HVAC specialist will first find and cut a spot free of wiring and obstructions. They’ll then install metal bracing, legs, brackets, the ceiling duct register, ductwork, power, and thermostat wires. Once installed, they’ll seal all openings, attach duct connections, and install a thermostat. Before leaving, they’ll run cool water piping to the unit and inspect all the connections.

The cost to repair your swamp cooler ranges from $50 to $600, depending on the issue, whether new parts are needed, and the chosen repair service. Depending on the type of pad your system uses, you will need to change out the pads every one to three years for proper operation. When budgeting for the cost to repair a window unit, expect to pay around $230.

The U.S. Department of Energy states that swamp coolers can cool a single room by five to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this largely depends on the size and installation method of the evaporative cooler. You can only achieve these results in a dry climate, such as the American South, as it’s easier to cool rooms in humid environments with central air.

Swamp cooler water usage varies depending on the size of the unit. Smaller evaporative units may use one gallon per hour, while much larger units could use up to 15 gallons of water per hour. Most homeowners can expect their unit to use between seven and 10 gallons of water per hour of usage.
