"Excellent. Covid 19 slowed things down initially but everything went smoothly once construction materials became available. Crew was professional and efficient. Adam and Yancy were very responsive to any questions and issues. The patio enclosure is the talk of the neighborhood. Highly recommended."

"I highly recommend SPU. We used them for roofing. The owner is great to work with, he always answered my phone call when I called and showed up when he said he would show up. He came out to do a quote on Wednesday, materials were delivered that Friday and the roof was done by that Sunday afternoon. The crew was very respectable, they did a great job cleaning up after the job, there was not a piece of garbage or a nail to be found anywhere."

"Very well. We had actually wanted a second outlet installed also but after discussion it seemed the work and impact to the outside of the building was probably not worth it so we just went with the one outlet addition.

"Working with Albar was a very positive experience.  The salesperson was prompt and responsive to questions and requests for price clarifications and adjustments.  The basement windows (3 hoppers & 2 glass blocks) and a steel garage service door were ready in 3 weeks and installed in 1 day.  I am very satisfied with the quality of the windows and door and the workmanship looks very good.  All gaps were caulked and wood trim around the door was wrapped in aluminum.  At the end of the day, the workers cleaned up each area in which they worked.

"They made beautiful custom windows for our historical building."

"The job went great.  It was completed quickly, on time and at less than budget.  My front porch on the "old grey lady greystone" now looks great - the old girl has had a face lift.  Most importantly, I have new gutters that actually function around the porch.
My husband and I own the two-flat we live in, and a three-flat I inherited that has been in my family for generations.  Both are old, aging and need a lot of work.  I first met Bob in May of 2014 when I had an urgent need for a critical back porch repair I needed at our "inherited" property.  I called him, explained the need, and he came and made the repairs right away and at a very fair price.  Ever since then, Hansen Brothers have been my "go to" for both buildings.  In the last year and a half, he's made major repairs to the back porches of both places, installed new back porch windows to an enclosed porch, installed a new garage roof, repaired a leaky closet pipe in the basement and fixed my greystone's front porch gutters and overhang.
Bob always finds a way to get the job done, especially when it comes to quirky old buildings. He knows how to do the work and make it look aesthetically pleasing - not an easy feat when it comes to aging buildings. He gets it done efficiently at more than fair pricing.
My husband and I are at a point where we physically can't do much on our own, and having found Bob Hansen has been a godsend to us.  He is honest and always ethical, and his pricing is more than fair.  We trust him implicitly.

"John did an excellent job working with the building's association to get the scope of work approved and scheduled.  He also did a very good job abiding by the association's rules.
I also am extremely happy with the work performed by John's team.  They partnered very well with the other construction team to ensure the project stayed on schedule and that the best overall solutions were implemented.  I was very impressed with the ideas that his team recommended and implemented with the plumbing and electrical work.  They guided us on the best products that would work for our project as well as doing a very professional job.  His team listened well and showed a very caring approach.  It was very apparent that they were highly skilled and had a significant amount of experience in their field.
John and his team exceeded my expectations for our project.  The kitchen is done, looks, beautiful, and functions well.

"IDEA was recommended to us by a local designer for two bathroom updating projects.  Marty and IDEA provided a very reasonable quote to replace a light fixture, 3 vanity faucets, a shower fixture, a roman tub fixture and a toilet tank water line.  Marty also recommended a sub-contractor to change out the old brass trim on our glass shower door enclosure.  Marty was willing to help trouble shoot any problems that came up during the project and was on site each day to inspect the work of his team.  Overall, we are happy with the work performed and the new look of our bathrooms.
