He had the part in his truck, pulled the problem item out, installed the new one with the washer tilted back for access, set the washer back upright and tested the electronic readings. He ran a short cycle and found that t he unit was working properly. We have since run several loads of laundry and the unit is doing fine. Problem fixed!! As a long-time engineer I asked him a lot of questions, so between his fixing the problem and my curiosity he spent about an hour here. The cost was $244.
