"Please note: Joey installed a full system: HVAC. I'm an older guy so I can (almost) get away with writing this review a year later. Here's what I have to say about PMGâ especially Joey Azevedo. Our story starts off with a tragic twist of homeowner dread: our roof, gutters, water heater, and HVAC died around the same time. More fun than wearing underwear soaked with ticks! Outside of having to refinance our home to cover all of this work, and getting the roofer, the baker, and the candlestick maker all together to handle the various pieces of our sh!# pie, my wife and I didn't know where to turn for help with our HVAC system. It was installed around 1993. Not good. Let me preface this story by saying my wife and I have family in the HVAC businessâ but they all reside on the other side of the country. They gave us advice but it was PMG & Joey who got us off the ground. FAST! Through Joey, we purchased and installed: A HVAC system from York, A whole house fan made by QuiteCool, and exhaust fans in the bathroom and kitchen. Let me list all the ways Joey made our lives easier: * He was cordial, friendly, and attentive to every one of our needs. * He coordinated with our roofers so that everything was properly installed. * He worked with our plumber to ensure everything was to code and connected to the plumber's water lines. * He worked with our difficult city inspectors (four visits total for just the HVAC). * He also got a HVAC inspector to certify everything was up to code. For most any issue outside of our HVAC setup, Joey recommended a number of companies and/or individuals to suit our needs. Please understand, he didn't give us his "friends" informationâ he actually gave us at least three contractors/companies to choose from and get quotes. All of them were professionals and held appropriate contractor licenses. The man even set up a weather vane on our roof for my wife! The man is a jack of all trades. And knowledgeable about most anything related to home repair and improvements. If you've paid attention to any of the reviews about PMG and Joey, you'd realize our story is just another happy voice in the chorus. I'm really glad we came across PMG. We're extremely satisfied with everything he did."

"I do not mind paying for PROFESSIONAL service and the timely response was great. BUT I do get a little sideways when I TOLD them what the problem was, had everything accessible for a quick in and out repair. I agreed to the $89 dispatch charge (typical) and no problem. That amount was to be refunded into the repair charge? But I did not see it. My 1 item invoice total was $324.14. I knew for a FACT that the electric component to be replaced cost ME anywhere from $13-$50 from China, which exactly like the part that was installed. That is a 900%-1500% increase in cost based on THAT invoice. I trusted these guys would not rip me off, but I feel like they found a sucker. Our A/C works again, we got valuable advise, and a brand new cheap Chinese part replaced. Even when I told the dispatcher what the problem was and asked for a cost to R&R the part, he wouldn't advise, which I thought was odd. Buyer beware. Angi (List) is exactly the scam that the reviewers are talking about."
